Park House Motor Inn Oakey

The ambience of the Motel grounds was pleasing on the eyes. The room was a good size and spotless. The room facilities included shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in dispensers in the shower. We were well received by the owner who was very pleasant to deal with. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. At the back of the motel are terraced gardens with seating overlooking the creek. There is also a garden arch connecting the motel to the children's playground next door. We ordered room service meals. When they arrived they were more than we had expected. Can not understand why this Motel only rates 3 stars. Should be higher. Highly recommend this motel.

The lady who greeted me really seemed to appreciate my visit. She said she hasn't been there long. She was lovely.My room was so clean it was scary. Just positively beautiful.Nice seating outside to enable visitors to actually talk. Not a single plastic seat in sight. All lovely timber.I ordered the lamb shank with potato bake and veges. Beyond yummyCooked to order, with a seriously delicious mushroom gravy. Took about 40 minutes. Amazing.If you're planning a visit to Oakey, this place is small and lovely.

The location is very pleasant, overlooking Oakey Creek and adjacent to the park. The motel garden seating areas were a lovely place to hang out with a wine or a coffee. The motel room was well-equipped with many thoughtful extras, which made our stay feel more personal and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was spotless. The hosts were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable in every way. We will stay again.

Bianca is a very welcoming host. The rooms are so clean and fresh smelling. The bedding is very comfortable. The room was soo warm.This is our 4 th time staying at Park House and the first time we have ordered dinner which was delicious and generous in size.It feels like coming home when we stay here.

Hosts were friendly and helpful.Rooms extremely clean. Laundry facilities available for a small fee.Kitchen utensils are great.Peaceful gardens to relax.

This is a family-run establishment. Pricing was very competitive with that of others in town. Our room was spotlessly clean. All interaction with staff was extremely friendly and we were treated very courteously at all times.We were able to order a 'home-cooked' meal in the evening and this was very enjoyable. Although circumstances dictated that we had to cut our stay short, courtesy was extended to us nevertheless. Overall, a pleasant stay in a pleasant location.

Beautiful country motel with the friendliest hosts ever. Wish we had of stayed longer. Clean rooms, quiet spot, beautiful creek running down the back with board walk. Definitely recommend this place as your first choice in town.

The Parkhouse Motor Inn is by the far the best Motel we’ve stayed in. Travelling a lot for work I’m a regular for Motel stays and the Park house is by far superior to any other Motel I’ve stayed in.Firstly, the rooms are excellent! Modern, cozy and comfortable are just a few words that come to mind. The beds are incredibly comfortable, bathrooms new and modern (soap, shampoo & conditioner provided) Foxtel with all the movies and sport you could ask for and the fridges stocked with fresh Moccona coffee and milk each day! Washing and drying facilities also available completely free of charge. It’s safe to say, I definitely felt at home.Greg and Bianca, the owners of the motel, are awesome! Love a good chat and are extremely attentive to your needs. They also cook up an absolute storm! The room service dinners were delicious!Overall, my week stay at the Park house was an absolute treat! I would stay here again in a heart beat.Huge thanks to Greg and Bianca for such a warm welcome and a wonderful stay :)

We have stayed at the Park House Inn in Oakey several times since Bianca and her husband took ownership a couple of years ago.It has been a pleasure to stay there, Bianca remembers us each time we come. She is friendly and can't do enough to make our stay comfortable.The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious.The meals are generous, well priced and delicious.Looking forward to seeing your friendly face again Bianca, on our next visit to Oakey.Anita and Geoff
