Almost left this place right away as soon as i got in there. The reception has an attitude problem. They are the only mechanic in the area, so they act all cocky. Went there with flat tire, and the reception decided it needed a replacement tyre just by looking at it" NO test required. WTH?! I have to drive 60kms away to colac to get the tyre checked

Receptionist is one of the rudest most unhelpful people I’ve met. Wouldn’t help me because I’m not a customer, hard to become a customer if they won’t let you find out if you have any issues.

Our holiday on the Great Ocean Road took a major hit when we encountered car trouble while far away from home and our usual mechanic. We called RACV and Andrew from Apollo Bay Auto Care was dispatched to help us. He provided a courtesy car for us while he towed our car back to his shop, then sorted out the situation and got us on our way. Extra touches that we really appreciated: good communication from Andrew throughout the whole process -- and even a couple bottles of cold juice since he knew we'd been sitting and waiting for a while during our initial call-out to RACV. Recommend!

Great customer service and care. We were in a bit of a jam with car issues, and with such short notice they had at look at the car. They test drove it and made sure that we had no worries for the rest of our travels. thank you so much!

We stopped by for a simple puncture on our tyre. They advised us that they hadn’t another tyre to replace ours but as it is a simple repair that should be all right. They insisted on the schedule but took an hour to repair it and make us pay and we realised that it was still leaking from the repair.Really poor work from this shop, if we hadn’t checked THEIR work we could have an accident or ruin our wheel.

My son found it hard to get a straight answer and then only was offered to repair or remove after a short time. Ok if your really stuck . But he's charging is a lot .

Really great business, they are awesome, could not help us enough.On our way to Apollo Bay we hit a pothole and 2 tyres were damaged.We had to go to the auto care and they put through a request for 2 tyres that we had to be delivered from Colac but they could not help us enough. They were so friendly, efficient and the price was reasonable. Just a great team of people, big shout out to Mel who just kept us up-to-date every step of the way. Just an amazing team, thanks guys we will appreciated all you help.

Needed RACV to come and check on my overheating car 10km from Apollo Bay. Andrew was there within the hour. He took about 10 minutes to figure out and fix what was wrong with the car. We drove back to the shop to make sure everything was okay. Andrew then sent us on our way.The next day Andrew called me to make sure my car didn't have the same problem and made sure I got home. Couldn't have asked for better service. This is the first time I have actually ever put in effort to leave a review
