We recently had the pleasure of having Jake as our celebrant for our wedding day, and we couldn't have been happier with the amazing service he provides. From start to finish, Jake's lighthearted and professional approach eased the pre-ceremony nerves for both of us and made our special day even more memorable. One of the things we appreciated most about Jake was his ability to balance humour and sincerity, he knew exactly how to make everyone laugh without overshadowing the importance of the occasion. Jake took the time to get to know us both as a couple and individually and it truly showed during the ceremony. He personalised the ceremony with anecdotes and stories that reflected our relationship perfectly, making it incredibly intimate and heartwarming. We had so many guests ask us after the ceremony if we knew Jake personally and that truly is a testament to his warm and welcoming nature that was evident from the moment we first met him for a coffee and a wedding chat. Jake's guidance throughout the ceremony was flawless, he kept everything running smoothly and alleviated so much of the stress involved with trying to coordinate timing, music, etc. Shout out to Coop for providing such beautiful music during our ceremony, your rendition of 'latch' during our signing was truly amazing and I will always remember that!We were lucky enough to have Jake and Coop stick around to provide the tunes and good vibes and the dance floor was packed all night long! They are both so talented and created an incredible atmosphere. The live music performances were beautiful and added a touch of magic to our wedding and the transition to DJ services was seamless and brought such a party vibe to the night!Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better celebrant than Jake and the Janda Team. You truly made our night absolutely unforgettable and we had the time of our lives. If you're looking for someone who will take the time to get to know you, guide you expertly through the ceremony and provide amazing entertainment, we highly recommend Jake and the Janda Team! I will never be able to recommend Janda and Jake to enough future couples! We were recommended Jake from someone within the the wedding industry, and after a few emails and a meeting over a beer we knew that he would be perfect. Jake was the most laidback and calm yet passionate celebrant who really took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple. He made the entire planning process fun and helped us uncover and articulate in new ways what we loved about each other. Our ceremony was the perfect amalgamation of heartfelt and fun and not a single person who attended our wedding has stopped raving about Jake and his delivery of our ceremony. Jake is a genuine guy who is an absolute asset to your wedding planning process and more importantly your wedding day.

As new husband and wife, we cannot say enough great things about Janda and our amazing musician Alisha - vocal artist/DJ who performed at our wedding. Not only was she incredibly talented, but she was also one of the kindest and most accommodating people we have ever worked with.From the moment we contacted Janda, we were a top priority and so was making our wedding day as special and memorable as possible. They took the time to get to know us and our music preferences, and worked closely with us to create a playlist that perfectly captured the mood and atmosphere we wanted for our big day.On the day of the wedding, Alisha truly exceeded our expectations. Her musical performances were absolutely stunning, and her DJ skills kept the dance floor packed all night long. But what really stood out to us was her kind heart and warm personality. She took the time to personally connect with our guests and made everyone feel welcome and included.All in all, we would highly recommend Janda and Alisha. Alisha truly made our day unforgettable, and we feel so lucky to have had her be a part of our special day.

My husband and had Jake as of celebrant for our wedding at Pacific Beach Function Centre back in Nov 2022.We couldn't have been happier with how Jake ran the ceremony with the script he wrote for us.The perfect mix of emotions - happy tears & laughter to put the nerves at bay. Everything Jake wrote fitted us so perfectly you would think he knew us for years.Would 100% recommend Jake to anyone! :)

anda events, what can I say? Nothing more than truly amazing! Jake was beyond incredible. He spent time to get to know us, to understand what we wanted for our day.Both Luke and I felt really overwhelmed and together it was hard to decide and agree on music etc. Jake was so professional and was able to articulate what we wanted.The ceremony was perfect. It was chilled, funny, emotional and so personable. We had the amazing Jake and Gem play live music and DJ for our big day. They were super easy to deal with and accomodating, took all the worries and stress out of the day and even helped with feedback on the timing of events. We were stoked with their performance as were our guests who were raving about Jake and Gem in the days after.Thanks for helping make it a day to remember and providing all the right vibes!! We had Jake do the acoustic/DJ music for our wedding and we couldn’t recommend him and the team at Janda highly enough. He is an amazing musician and created such a relaxed vibe for our ceremony/reception and then pumped up the dance floor.The communication was second to none. From our first enquiry to Jake helping us with song choices, everyone was friendly, helpful and super quick to respond.Thank you guys!

Kahlia from Janda was absolutely fantastic on our wedding day - providing amazing music before and during the ceremony, canapes and reception, and then transforming to an epic DJ set for the party! Kahlia is an amazing artist, both her vocals and guitar were incredible.The booking process with Janda was great, although there were a few hiccups due to external factors Jake was quick and helpful in communicating these and providing a solution. What a great guy to deal with!The selection process for music was easy and Kahlia did such a fantastic job selecting music that suited us and our guests both with her live music and DJ set. The soundtrack was definitely a highlight of the day and made our wedding so special, and the bonus send-off song was a memory we'll never forget.Highly recommend both Kahlia and Janda Events for all things weddings!

My husband and I had the pleasure of Jake being our celebrant for our wedding in April 2023. We cannot recommend him and Janda enough. Being professional, responsive and relatable was an easy process which helped to put us at ease the whole way through. Jake engaged our ceremony in a way that guests just assumed that he had known us for years. Our nerves vanished quickly standing at the arbour when Jake made us feel comfortable and made our ceremony a priceless experience.
