JG King Homes - Geelong Office

Do not build with JG king Geelong. Worst experience and build quality. As soon as we signed the contract nearly all communication went out the window. All they want is your money they don’t care about providing good customer service or a nice home.The quality of our house is terrible compared to the display home we looked at, And we now have issues after being in our house for 4 months and JG King don’t want a bar of it. Have been trying to get the floor in our house fixed for weeks and nobody from their office will get back to us. They damaged our boundary fence during the build and refuse to fix it. Once they have your money they don’t give a rats!Build with anyone but this company, I would give 0 stars if it was an option.. Definitely won’t be saying good things about this company to other friends/family looking to build.Edit: floor has been fixed but is still very uneven in some places due to the slab.Still haven’t had fence repaired after chasing it up since November 2022.

Built a house and it’s been 1 year now we are living here. But no one bothered to finish the pending task. Never ever build with these people

Still waiting for my concrete driveway to be resealed after my maintenance report was lodged in November. Of the several emails and phone call I’ve tried the best I’ve had in response is “we’ve passed it on”, sadly.Update - still waiting and it's now about to hit April. No longer returning my calls :(Happy to change my review once it’s all sorted, of course, but right now I’m not super chuffed.

If you want good quality, don’t go with this company. Nothing but problems with the house after less than 2 years. Doors puffing, metal showing through paint on corners. I regret doing business with them.

Consumer beware, they do not build to contract.Even when they admit they have made a mistake, they will not honour your contract and hold your build up as ransom. Rather than rectify their mistakes, they would rather their client take them to dispute resolution bodies like the DBDRV & the VBA than to communicate and negociate. They are only interested in cash settlements and settling your build under protest. They ignore building inspection reports and force you into financial duress and hardship by having to engage lawyers to stop the harrassment and bullying. Do not build with JG KING or you will be in debt for life or worse homeless like me.

When buying a new house DONT get fooled by the amazing sales staff they have. Once they have your money good luck with the communication. 12month in new family home and we have cracks throughout and NO one can be bothered to communicate. Terrible customer service, so disappointing

O review, If I could!!!!Unpredictable hike of $30,000 on the day of colour appointment on the site cost and they were expecting to get signed all the documents.Sorry, JG King, but you should not fool people by giving the provisional site cost on their built , rather opt for fixed site cost which doesn't give shocks at the end!!We have to move to another builder hastily as we were approaching titlement and were saved by them.

Absolute joke of a company. Worst ever. We moved into our brand new home back in February 2021 & 18months later we're still chasing things to get fixed even after the 3month had passed. Would never ever build let recommend this company to anyone. I should've built with Hudson Ridge instead like I was going to initially.
