Damien is an experienced mechanic who consistently delivers (or over delivers). Knowledgeable and far more affordable than some of the European car yards around Canberra, I take both of our Skodas to him and have been consistently impressed by his efficiency, transparency and price. He will tell it to you like it is - what can be done, what really does or doesn't need to be done. Has always happened to have my cars ready earlier than promised. Strongly recommended for European car owners who don't like spending more money than they need to on a service.

Pretty disapointed by the misleading and dishonest manner in which this company operates.A person claiming to be an employee of theirs attended my home address asking if I was interested inn booking my car in for service, said the cost would be $199 for the service and if anything extra was needed they'd call. Also gave me a speech about trying to promote a family business so I thought why not.However upon collecting my car I was charged a further $114 on top of the minor things that usually get done with the service.I asked the mechanic about the initial $199 and he said that did cover the labour, oil and indicated that was part of the charge for the marketing company they use to promote their business. Which means the person who attended my door did not work for Latin Motors despite claiming he did and I've essentially parted with $199 for someone to make a phone call to book my car in for service.Nothing wrong with the actual servicing of the car.. My issue is with the initial deception and the lack of care demonstrated by the mechanic when asked about it upon collecting my car.Unfortunately I can't say I'd recommend using this company.

Just another crook in Canberra, an insolent bully who did $5,000 worth of damage to my car after a request for a simple oil change.

We have had a challenging year with motor vehicles and Damien has been amazing! He really knows his stuff and looked after all of our vehicles requirements. He has also always been available to answer questions in between appointments, and we have had a few! I highly recommend Latin Motors to anyone who has a European Car.

5 stars, very honest and great customer service! Damien saved me a whole lot of time and money with his honest diagnostic inspection, a potential issue was no issue at all. Couldn't be more pleased with the honesty and integrity of Latin Motors. I will definitely be back for all major servicing and any minor issues along the way. Thanks again Damien.

I went in for timing belt replacement that he hadn't done previously (against the service book requirements), which was failing. I booked the car in well in advance for that specific job. I dropped the cat off and we spoke about doing a service aswell as he was doing so much work anyway and it made sense. I reluctantly agreed.So the 'competent mechanic' then ordered the wrong timing chain, rather than tell me he just did the un warranted service and charged me for that while telling me I needed to book my car in again, so he could complete the original intended work. Charged me for new spark plugs, were not changed. Not even sure he changed the oil....but he sure charged me for it.He has obviously been pulling the wool over gullible people's eyes for a while.So the guy can't find the invoice for the poor quality, overpriced work he didn't do but did charge me for...... and he wants me to bring it in so he can discuss it........he wasn't willing to fix the issue he created the first time why would it be any different now.

Outstanding service. Just had my brakes done on my VW Golf GTi. Much better value and significantly easier to deal with the the VW dealership I previously used.I couldn't recommend him enough.
