With Herman's help I was able to pull off a very successful dinner party, with a delicious menu! He was extremely professional, arriving exactly on time, being fast and efficient, providing an excellent service, and leaving my kitchen cleaner than he found it!The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the suggestions for wine pairings were a smash hit. Working with Herman was extremely easy, and my guests felt like they had a premium dining experience. I would 100% recommend Herman's services, and will absolutely use him again.

I am writing this review on behalf of my family in Perth, for whom Herman arranged a beautiful evening.My parents could not be happier with how professional and punctual Herman was. His food was on par with a restaurant fine dining degustation with excellent quality local ingredients, with plating to match. He went above and beyond with the small touches such as making small side plates of food for my 4 year old nephew in addition to the degustation itself.They loved how easy going he was, and enjoyed the fact he was comfortable in their kitchen, which in turn allowed them to feel at home enjoying their dinner. Other than using a bit of freezer space and the stove top, he was not intrusive at all, including tidying up the kitchen after himself. Value for money 10/10.We will definitely be contacting Herman again. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Phenomenal. Whenever a question is posed for a private chef, Herman is one of the recommendations.Drawing his experience from an international repertoire, Herman has worked locally at well regarded institutions including Rockpool, the Richardson (before it closed) and Varnish on King.Always responsive. Caters for dietary requirements. He recently prepared an amazing evening of gluten free degustation. His execution is excellent. And he cleans up so there’s nothing to do at the end but put the wine glasses in the dishwasher.Highly recommended.Favourite dishes include his lobster tail with a bisque sauce, and truffled poached chicken crepes with a three cheese dressing.

Herman has cooked on two special occasions in our home and will hopefully do so again. He willingly caters for a range of dietary requirements and designs a menu to suit the occasion and your needs. Herman is a delight to have in your kitchen, works unobtrusively and leaves everything spotless. This is a wonderful way to entertain at home without any stress.

We had a wonderful experience with Herman who came over to help us celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The meals he made were outstanding and very delicious. He worked with us to pick the menu we liked and made sure everything was perfect. We were so happy to have booked Herman and would highly recommend him to everyone!

Herman is 1st class all the way. His friendly and accommodating nature means he slips in effortlessly and provides you with a perfect evening with nothing to do but enjoy.His creations are amazing and every course gets better and better.The incredible combination of flavours that he uses were so memorable, and had us discussing every bite.He was informative and gave detailed descriptions of each course and answered any questions we had. When he left, our kitchen was spotless.No hesitation in recommending Herman.
