The Athlete's Foot Maroochydore

Walked in and waited to get served while looking at the salesperson finishing up a sale behind the counter. Another customer walked in 5 minutes later and was served before me.Feeling a tad miffed I walked out and visited some of the many other shoe shops within cat swinging distance and bought a pair from Rebel after visiting Foot Locker.

The girl that served my granddaughter at the Maroochydore plaza store today was very rude I wouldnt be bothered going back to that store…

Great experience at the store, got fitted for some very comfortable shoes, the staff were friendly and experienced so I felt I got good service, definitely would recommend to anyone looking for and has a need for a good pair of shoes to suit any activity.

Poor customer service. As soon as the assistant found out we were not wanting to purchase today, her attitude completely changed and was rude. We were spending close to $500 for the 2 shoes we wanted to buy, so wanted to sit on the thought before throwing our money at new shoes. Safe to say when we do decide to proceed with new shoes we will not return to this store.

Absolutely appaling service here. My husband was sold a pair of $250 Brooks and assured the leather was durable and the shoes would be suitable for his orthotics and trade (a spray painter, which was made ABUNDANTLY clear as it was the whole purpose for our visit to Athletes Foot Maroochydore). Within weeks the rubber sole peeled back and the leather started to wear away.October 23 2022 we returned the shoes and were told by ManagerSacha, Brooks are really good and we'll have it sorted within a few days. It is now December 5 2022 and we haven't even had so much as a return phone call let alone the shoes back. It's unheard of. We've incurred podiatry cancellation fees, we've had to go to the added expense of buying alternative shoes in the long and totally unacceptable wait period.ACCC are current investigating this retailer - thank God for that!If you have any issues with this shop, check the ACCC website and note your consumer rights. If you have a similar situation, I urge you to report it.

Store was extremely busy but all staff handled it responsibly well. Younger staff could have a bit more training in communicating and understanding with customers of all ages and abilities
