The Canberra French Language Institute (CFLI) is undoubtedly the premiere French language school in Canberra.Over the years, I have studied at a number of different French language schools in Canberra and each have various strengths and weaknesses. However, the French learning options offered by CFLI are consistently high quality and you really feel like you are properly learning another language.The classes are small (4 or 5 people at the most) and you really have time to speak and learn at your own pace. The teachers are supportive and completely focussed upon your individual learning needs, rather than simply following an assigned textbook page by page.The classes are a lot of fun and the teachers are incredibly professional. Indeed, the teachers at the CFLI are also involved in training staff to speak professional French for a range of large companies and the Australian Government.If you are looking for a high quality French language learning opportunity, CFLI is your best choice in Canberra.

Nabila is a wonderful French teacher. Her enthusiasm, warmth and great knowledge makes classes a joy to attend. The classes offered at an advanced level are great fun, with 2 to 4 students generally who are looking to obtain C1/C2 or just maintain their level.Her ability to manage a class of different levels is wonderful and she creates lessons that are engaging and that push you to improve.I strongly recommend CFLI for all French learners from être et avoir to C2.

I have been a student of Nabila's for the past 2 years. My experience at CFLI has been absolutely wonderful. Not only have I been benefiting from the expertise and years of teaching experience of Nabila and her staff, but I have felt like I am part of a lovely family of people all interested in French language and culture. With small classes and plenty of flexibility, I have felt that there is always a learning option that suits my needs. Learning a second language can be very intimidating but I have felt nothing but comfort and support throughout. I cannot recommend CFLI enough!

I've tried a number of different French schools in Canberra, and CFLI is by far the best. With a focus on conversation and discussion, you are speaking French immediately. I can see myself getting better and more confident each week -- Nabila and the CFLI teachers have a unique way of teaching that makes sure you are advancing and improving.
