Shark and Ray Gardens

Fantastic! The whole family absolutely loved swimming and touching the sharks and rays! Great for toddlers and young children, or 2 and 4 year old loved it! The staff are knowledgeable, energetic and engaging. They bring each shark and Ray around for all to touch really really cool experience. Thank you guys for the fantastic time.

Great experience touching sharks and rays.I never think I would touch sharks. It's great experience for kids and even adults. The guide explained sharks and rays and let us feed sharks and rays. There was changing rooms in the place so you could change wet clothings before you go to the car.

We waded into the shark and ray pool and had a little pat of a nurse, bamboo, and wobbegong shark, and a sting ray. Very, very safe.

Amazing experience. Highly recommend, for the kids and adults alike. Paul was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and kind. His son Stan was also very gentle with my 2 young sons, aged 6 & 8, who weren't keen on getting in the water. Thanks Paul & Stan!

Great hands on experience. Paul, Dillon and Jack were awesome hosts with a great sense of humour for the adults. Definitely recommend for the kiddies.

The people who rated this place 1 star are not like the rest of us; they don't know what 'fun' is and they probably regret most of their choices in life.If you're not a fun sponge and don't take life too seriously, this is for you. We went for Pat and Play with Shark and Ray, but we stayed for Paul.

Easily one of the best experiences of my life. Very scared to get in the water but the owner Paul was great. Glad i did it and would highly recommend to anyone. Very hands on and you wont be disappointed.

We visited on 13 Dec, made a booking via FB the day before. Great location as its not too far from Brisbane and there's a huge mall nearby. And thank God they're open during the school hols.My boys are too young to swim with sharks so this is great! Never thought we could actually ever touch sharks and rays. Got to feed them as well and learned about the different sharks. They've got 2 kinds of wobbies, nurse shark, a ray and more. Even my one year old managed to have a go (this was of course under my very close supervision). My 7 year old, an aspiring shark researcher, was ecstatic! They were also kind and helped a young girl overcome her fear of sharks. I'm sure her Nana was grateful.Overall, took about an hour, you have a choice to stay on the platform and be dry or get down in the water with the sharks - be prepared to get wet waist down.

What a great day we had at the shark and ray pools as a family, my two daughters and I got in the water and interacted with the sharks. The presenter was funny and taught us a lot about sharks and rays. Twinkle the starfish was a massive hit with my eldest girl as well. Definitely recommend checking it out the kids definitely love it. Awesome day.
