Attended seminar managing people performance" August 2016Seems there has been a shift in focus. Seminar was really worthwhile

A great locally based and focussed organisation who always do their best for their staff, job seekers and employers alike. I have been involved with them since their move to Barkly Square - which is also a great place for the community to come together. A BGT initiative too!

Absolutely unbelievably amazing.The teachers are caring and are wanting to teach people that WANT to learn.They've got a good range of machinery and are fabulous at what they do.As long as you have a good attitude and respect they're there for you.Would highly recommended BGT

Things were ending this woman who became into my life and supported me with a program as well as had her as my developer courage she also encourage me to do so much better in life and always checked on me, she made me feel like the mother that I never had and gave me a really good advice For my future and to benefit myself in life. She also make sure things that I needed or wanted sure which provided and helped me to Best of her abilities and make sure there’s always a way to make things happen. She also made me feel that life. Is always full with obstacle courses but always give it a shot. So thank you so much for all the things you did Jem you are an amazing person and the best coach to any young person could ask for hopefully in your future that you get rewarded for your excellent work because you deserve it. The ''Engineering'' course is a total waste of money, do not waste your time. There is one teacher in particular that has no respect for students and does not care to teach. He becomes angry when you ask questions or need help, and he needs a serious attitude adjustment. Multiple students have complained about him and he is still there, funnily enough.They throw outdated books at you and expect you to teach yourself while they sit on their computers. They will tell you they have tradesmen ringing for apprentices just to get you into the course, get their funding and hang you out to dry. They are unprofessional and the quality of their ''teaching'' is sub par. No wonder manufacturing is dying in this country when you have these kinds of teachers in TAFE that do not care to educate the younger generation, as long as they get their paycheck.Their books are outdated, they put no effort into teaching and you finish their ''course with very little knowledge''.It is interesting that they deleted my previous review, because they know the truth. Fix your game, have some respect for the people that walk through your door and do a bit more than just throw books at students.If you are considering studying here, don't even bother. Go to Federation Uni or Melbourne TAFE, don't bother with these time wasters.

I would highly recommend BGT to anyone that was job hunting or wanting to do a course. They have gone above and beyond to help my son complete a metal work course and find a job
