It's a very well stocked museum with plenty to see. Set over 3 floors, each floor has a different time in history, so it's interesting and in the floor level just past reception there a boat you can walk around

Another amazing place to visit in Port Adelaide. It is located a few blocks from other museums. Staff are very friendly. This museum offers maritime history incorporated with state-of-the-art in technology. People will get to see, hear, and feel the experiences of people in the history. The bonus is, you'll get to see and feel the interior of this old building including the old basement. I love it!

Interesting and informative, enjoyed learning about navigating and working out Flinders' location.Great for kids and adults. There's a ship that you'll see as you enter which you can board and explore. It was interesying to learn about the local dolphind and the cross section of the Dolphin head was fascinating to see.Our entrance ticket was included in a Torrens Island Quarantine Station tour that we'd booked - I'd recommend this too if you get the opportunity.

An underestimated and honest little museum that punches above its weight. You could spend hours reading, listening and watching the wealth of history on offer. A super strong 'sense of place'. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great museum. I particularly liked the lower ground level with the reconstructions of passenger cabins.Loads of info and artifacts from whole boats, to shipwrecks, to beach front history.$12.50 for adults. Open every day except Christmas Day and Good Friday.
