Been here a few times. Never failed. One of the few old-school Cantonese restaurants in the eastern suburbs. The home fish balls and home-made xo sauce are really good.

Decent BBQ roast but the 5-spice seasoning was a bit overwhelming. Suggest making it more subtle and also heating up the meat before serving in the evenings. Cold duck was unpleasant. :'(Decent food but not worth the high prices in my opinion.Friendly staff, complimentary prawn crackers and tea.

The best food of any cuisine that we've had in ages. We had the butter prawns, roast duck, fried chicken, rice and noodles. So good. So much fun sharing. Easy parking. 1970s decor, basic service.But good value.

Very underrated place, should be swarming with customers. Definitely give a go if you havnt. I feel like this place may be getting pushed into the shadow of the proud peacock, which is only several meters away and itself is also a fantastic place to eat. However, this place is equally generous with food, tastes fantastic, prices are very reasonable and staff extremely friendly. also the best chilli oil ive ever had.

It was Thursday evening. 7pm. Arrived at the station was was looking for something simple to take away.Place was empty. Not a single customer.Ordered beef stir fry noodles, quality was slightly below average.The rice noodles were clunky, sticking together.

In the Mount Waverley village and close to the station, this little Chinese restaurant is a surprise package. Always friendly and attentive service with a menu to match. The window often displays bbq ducks so you know they are fresh and tank fish. Great prices and fabulous food and they offer takeaway.
