Will never get fish n chips from here again food was horrible so slow having to wait nearly 20 mins also kept on hearing the microwave door opening and closing. Very rude and slow

Absolute disgrace . Fish had an old smell to it and we could smell everything seemed to be just not right before we even removed it from the paper.On the way home it stunk our car out. We didn’t eat anything and if we did I’m sure we would have been crook.Old owners of this once great fish and chip shop have moved to Hallam Square and run the same great fish and chips from there now.

Decided to get HSP's at lunchtime for myself and the boys as it is only across the road. Ordered at 11.50am and was told 20 mins to pick up. Went to pick up at 12.15pm and was still 10 mins until ready. Not worth 15 bucks compared to the portion sizes you get elsewhere for similar money. Ran out of garlic sauce and meat was not fresh. Pretty disappointing to be honest. Will go a bit further next time for better quality.

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. The fish batter is thin and crispy one of the best batters I've had. Overall quality and fish quality is consistently good. Chips aren't too overcooked or soggy and though they're not oily the oil tastes clean. I highly recommend the dinner for 2 pack. Have tried others around Berwick and they're not as good. Try this place as it's my go to fish and chip shop they're really good.

Absolutely awful,I wouldn't feed this food to my dog.The extremely arrogant owner lie about what they have on the menu and what they serve you. For example they do not have a steak sandwich which they advertise.In my 32 years of life I have never been treated with such poor customer service and quality of food.Again, for example;If you ask for a kebab (not souvlaki) with extra sauce, the arrogant owner will not put any sauce on it.(or onion or tomato)- essentially a wrap of lamb.The owner is absolutely arrogant and rude and provides disgusting, off, nasty tasting food that I believe in some third world countries could provide better delicatessen.The manager/owner does not provide a good service and through word of mouth the worst fish and chips in the South East.Does not assimilateDog food is better quality.

Owner doesn’t seem to put any effort into customer service, my order took 25 minutes even thought there was nobody else in the shop.The “flake” smells and tastes weird, potato cakes had no flavour and the medium chips ( literally not even a half full box) we’re unsalted.Do not go here
