Bury Me Standing Bagels Hobart
The bagels were nice, ordered the brioche one and a Everything Bagel. The aroma of the bagels was awesome and we couldn't wait to devour them after our walk to Mt Wellington. We just asked for butter on the Brioche one and cream cheese on the other one. Unfortunately the amount of butter was disgusting and overpowered the bagel so much. I love butter but I reckon they used a whole block (ok exaggeration) but it seriously ruined the bagel. The cream cheese was also piled on. We did try and take alot of it off but what a waste. Not sure if other customers have noticed this but as I said I love butter but not the amount they put on. Sure my arteries were screaming out to be unclogged. To the staff maybe revisit the amount used or ask customers how much butter they would like.

I think this was the best bagel I’ve ever had. I got the everything bagel with cashew garlic butter, and it was amazing. The garlic was subtle enough to taste but not overpower or give you garlic breath in the morning, and the bagel was delicious. I also tried some of the cinnamon roll and it was delicious as well. Only slight complaint was that the bagel wasn’t toasted so the butter soaked into it a bit. If you are looking for breakfast in Hobart make sure to stop by Bury Me Standing

bagels were far from bagels in new york, but if you can remove yourself from previous bagel experiences, the bagels are enjoyable to eat. one major downside was that they only had cashew cream cheese — no dairy. i don’t know if they were out of dairy cream cheese or if it was intentional, but that added to the off experience.i had an oatmilk flat white and i thought the milk was burnt. everyone else had a dairy flat white and said there coffee was burnt too. i’m not sure, but it stood out as we haven’t had a bad coffee since landing in australia.the real winner for me was the cinnamon roll. that was a treat and delicious even though we ate it much later in the day.the space is thoughtful and cozy, service was friendly on the bagel side.

Came here for breakfast after reading reviews and this time thankfully they were right. Yummy bagel and cinnamon roll. Pickles on a bagel yes please !Nice large mugs for hot drinks. The food was tasty. Nice cozy seats. Good service staff. Only thing that they could improve was the chai, needed some more masala way too milky. Apart from that would come back, recommend to try whilst in Hobart.

I've lost count the number of times I've eaten breakfast here! A vegan friendly cafe that offers a number of bagels with vegan (and non-vegan) spreads including tofu or cashew based cream cheeses as well butter". Great value for the price and the space offers a takeaway counter or a small dine-in space. Highly recommend!"

Stayed in Hobart for 6 days. Managed to consume 7 bagels from here in that time. This is a seriously cool little joint and the bagels are to die for (pun intended!). I've eaten my fair share of bagels and these are among the best I've ever tasted! Highly recommend!

My first ever review which I didn’t want to make, however the music level is beyond. I’ve asked politely before as to why it’s so loud only to be met with the hostility of ‘the staff like it’ and that apparently it ‘encourages customers to come in’, which if going by other reviews, it doesn’t. I’ve stopped eating in, and some days simply turn around at the door before ordering, it seems fully dependant on who is working as to if you can hear yourself think. I think maybe it could stay loud if the music was more appropriate ? I don’t know what’s changed, but it’s a real shame and it shows a real disregard for people with auditory issues, especially as the food and coffee is so good :(
