Aviassist Pty Ltd - Drone training Newcastle

I completed my RePL course last week having Mark as our trainer. I cannot recommend Aviassit enough, Mark and Ross professionalism and knowledge across all areas of the industry are 1st class. My confidence and skills have improved immensely. If you’re looking for a company to complete this training give them a call. I will defiantly be back to complete other courses.

I went into this course not really knowing what to expect. I was very quickly made aware that the course content was going to be much more challenging than I ever would have guessed.Rowan, my teacher is exactly the kind of person I needed to get through the course. He did an excellent job of teaching the nervous (and excited) class both quickly and with attention to every students' strong and weak points.I was supported by Aviassist staff (Ross & Lydia) during the enrolment process, and I am confident I can call on the team in the future to help me with the questions I will have.I'll be turning to Aviassist again when I need my next license/certification for sure. Very high recommendation from me.

Rowan and Duncan were excellent trainers, both have comprehensive industry knowledge and experience, and excellent training skills. Material covered was first-class in its presentation and content. It's obvious that AviAssist strives for and achieves the highest of high standards. Rowan is also chasing up some answers for some very specific questions I had too, which will be invaluable for me when he comes up with the solutions. Also had great fun with both of them, and they had fun too! I cannot recommend AviAssist highly enough!

I had Craig as my instructor and he was very accommodating and kind. I enjoyed my drone course and would recommend everyone to use Aviassist, Mayfield East. Simply Outstanding.

The remote pilot licence course run by Ryan and Rowan was fantastic. It was certainly mentally demanding but they kept our class of 10 students engaged and involved. We had some bad weather early in the week, meaning we did theory the first couple of days and flying the last couple of days to ensure we got the required hours. Both guys made every effort to make it a personal experience, and ensured all students were well qualified and ready for flying at completion. Highly recommend them!

For someone who had very little drone experience the AVIAssist team were very helpful, the instructor Craig was willing to explain any facet of the course that I didn't fully understand, while the provided content was easy to navigate and review. The quizzes and practise exams were very helpful.I was very happy with my interaction and the training provided.

I undertook the RPA course with Aviassist in Melbourne. What an experience. With no previous aviation or drone experience I felt the course was challenging but also very rewarding. Ryan the trainer has a wealth of knowledge in the aviation industry which really helped.The practical side of the course was even better. The equipment is of the highest standard & again very rewarding.Thank you Aviassist for a great week.

I completed my RePL through Aviassist recently, the chief pilot Matt was our presenter. The knowledge and professionalism that him and the other instructors carried was second to none. The theory component of the course involved a lot of general aviation, which could be overwhelming at times due to the many different aspects it covers. However, to Matt’s credit, he was excellent at keeping the students engaged and ensuring we were all on the same page before we’d move on. I enjoyed every minute flying out in the field with different types of drones. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone interested in learning more about UAV’s or looking to become a commercial drone pilot.

If I could I would give these guys 10 stars! Having recently completed an IREX theory course with Aviassist I could not recommend them more highly. I have undertaken a number of Remote Pilot Training courses with various providers and by far these guys are the professionals you need to be training with!
