Well organised cinema under the stars with very friendly staff, the venue surrounded by gigantic pine trees. Great pizzas cooked on the spot still piping hot when delivered.Relaxing in a deck chair whilst watching the film with kookaburra adding to the music. Such an extraordinary experience!

Somerville outdoor Cinemas sponsored by Lotterywest is a beautiful spot to go and see an outdoor movie. Outdoor chairs are provided and also cushions should you need them and there are also being bags available. It is a beautiful setting set amongst lovely large trees and lots of white fairy lights through the trees. There are a few few and drink outlets such as Charlie's pizza and more including coffee or drinks and alcohol available. You can also take your own small chairs if you want to sit on the side on the astro turf . You can BYO your own drink including alcohol and have a picnic in the specially designed areas with picnic tables and chairs too before the movie starts. Gates open at 6 p.m. so you have to be early to score a good position / seat. Highly recommend to go to Somerville outdoor Cinemas for your next movie and enjoy it outdoors in a beautiful setting.Movie goes agead, rain, hail or shine.

Dating all the way back to the 1940's this amazing Gothic Cathedral inspired auditorium will simply blow you away.Walking into the area is like something you would expect over in Europe or in the Pine Forests of USA, lined with amazing old and tall pine trees with soft glowing LED lights hanging in them to create the soft almost fantastical ambiance that the Somerville Auditorium is known for.Can recommend for its uniqueness, and the experience.

Good experience. Friendly staff. Pizza was really good. Seats were comfortable enough. Limited quantity of cushions available on request but we brought our own.Movie volume was really loud and peaky for me, bring plugs if you're sensitive to that. Mosquitoes are pretty bad but thankfully, repellant was available which I thought was a nice touch. Would go again.

One of my favourite outdoor activities to do during this summer. Such a lovely place with an amazing vibe. You can book your ticket online and watch a movie with a good food and a drinks

Beautiful ambience, great place to watch international movies with an upfront picnic on the lawn in front of the big screen. Fair pricing too including concessions for students and others! If you're early you can make use of provided bean bags and cushions, really nice.

Nice relaxing environment to watch the movies with byo picnic or buy there. Unfortunately if uni is having open day party it can seep into the films during the solomn funeral scenes with one of your favourite 90s nightclub hits

Great location to see a movie on a summer's night tucked behind the tall pines. Seats are very comfortable. High quality food and drink can be purchased.

Great outdoor auditorium, love when Perth festival is on. Can be busy especially if there's a good movie on so pre-book your tickets online and get there early to get a good seat. Doors open at 6pm.
