Terrible at expectations management. Ordered take away twice and both times was 30 to 45 minutes late.People waiting in for much delayed food weren’t happy either.Why would a restaurant do tis?

From the inside it is has the feel of 70’s, restaurant, however, lots of small pockets of families eating here so must have quite a cult following. I must ignore the reviews about delivery as often Chinese food is better in than outAs to the food, The springs rolls, lamb pancakes, crispy beef, were actually surprisingly good, a very limited wine by the glass by the menu, which was the only disappointment, service was friendly and efficient. Definitely good enough for a second visit.Bottom line $140 for two.

When we had dinner here, the restaurant was surprisingly packed (given its very drab and uninviting exterior) so service was very slow. It seems both the kitchen and front-of-house were understaffed. The crab with noodles was great - the juicy and fleshy morsels of crab were delicious. Unfortunately none of the other dishes matched the crab in quality. The vegies were disappointing, while the spicy, deep-fried chicken pieces were more bone than flesh. The seafood at Dai's is ok, but the rest of the experience wasn't good enough to make me want to come back often.

This is the best Chinese in Sydney.Every dish is a real gem.Absolutely perfect and at a great price.You won't get overcharged here.So dam tasty.You will not be disappointed.Ten stars.

Exceptional quality and value, we've been eating in and taking away for over 10yrs now and love the place, after 300+ orders over the years we've had only 2 issues which were both resolved before our orders arrived, if your're an Aussie and like Australian Chinese food this is where you want to get your meal,I've used a simple rule for years now, if the restaurant bothers to make fresh top quality Spring rolls then they'll likely be putting the same effort into their main dishes, and they do, their Picnic chicken" weird name is sooo moist and tender it's incredible! Ok

Their (whole) Salty chicken 鹽水雞 $43 and Pan fried tofu,eggplant and Capsicum 煎釀三寶 $25 are very nice , make sure you call to pre order these dishes. Also best to go at 6pm, otherwise they might be busy with takeaway orders.

Authentic Chinese with friendly service. 2nd best Chinese in Sydney (after my mum’s cooking ofc!). Our family are regulars and absolutely love this place.
