Both my sons have had their hair done at this beautiful salon and they have come out looking fantastic. My teenager said “they made the best hot chocolate I have ever had”, “I feel so relaxed now”, and he was thrilled to have a hairdresser that actually listened to what he wanted.My toddler has curly hair and I was relieved that the stylist actually cut his curls properly and was able to work around him fidgeting a little towards the end.

I am over the moon with my hair, I came into the salon and explained what I wanted and walked out with my expectations blown out of the water. I have my wedding in a weeks time and I can’t wait to show off my new colour. Will definitely be back to get my hair done again with Kate.

The best hair salon around Newcastle! All staff are so incredibly kind and welcoming. I always feel so at home at Sol. Really calm atmosphere and a beautiful space. Lucy colours and cuts my hair each time and she’s the best hairdresser I’ve been to!

As usual, a wonderful experience from the moment I stepped into the salon. Always a warm welcome and offer of a drink. Today’s wash and blowdry was amazing as usual. Complete with the most incredible head massage and complementary treatment. Thank you once again!

This was my 1st visit to SOL salon and believe me it lives up to all the great reviews & feedback. I had the lovely Georgia cut & colour my hair & what a gem she is. Not only did she understand what I wanted, but created a lovely new style which was meticulous in every aspect. Will definitely be coming back for more.

As usual, I had a truly amazing experience at Sol Salon. This was my first hair cut by Georgia and she was fantastic - great conversation to go with a great hair wash, cut and style. Based on my previous experiences with Lucy and now Georgia, I can attest that this salon is full of positive vibes and talent!

I've so very pleased to have had my hair cut really well. It's an understatement to say I have tried many hairdressing salons. My younger daughter said I was like a gambler going from one place to another who kept trying to win. Well, I've won and relieved to be able to go back when I need to and not worry about a badly cut hair style. Not only that- which was great though- but the shop and the staff are so kind and calm. I had Georgia today and what a wonderful experience I had! I didn’t feel rushed at all, the atmosphere in the salon was amazing and of course, she did an absolutely outstanding job with my colour and style.
