Wow this place did not disappoint! Such an amazing place to stay! It was hands down the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever been on. There’s 6 cottages there, which are all spread out and we barely bumped into anyone else for the whole of our stay- even around the pool area. The cottages are very spacious, clean and well equipped. Duncan and Gail were amazing hosts, and very attentive with lots of local knowledge. Such a great location! Beautiful places to visit around the area, which aren’t far to get to by car. You can collect fresh eggs, and herbs from the garden, and even spot the local wildlife while you’re there. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who want to chill out and switch off for a few days.

Amazing place and such a beautiful and peaceful place to get away from it all. So much to see and do around the area. Will definitely be back. A big thank you to Clint and Lauren for making us so welcome.

Thank you for such a lovely stay! We visited over a cold few days but the wood fireplace warmed the cottage perfectly and we enjoyed going for walks around the site and nearby with a few trips to Tea Gardens and Seal Rocks too. The kids loved the hammock, games and movie library as well as playing pool, feeding the chickens and kangaroo spotting. I'd highly recommend a stay at Bombah Point Eco Cottages if you need an escape in a beautiful environment :) We look forward to visiting again and going kayaking!

What an amazing place! The whole family had a great time feeding the chickens, walking the bush trails, surfing the sand dunes, swimming in the lake and then relaxing into the peace quiet of this beautiful place. The owners and staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. We will definitely be back :)

Many thanks to Lauren and Clint for a wonderful week at Bombah Point. They are both great hosts who made sure our stay was both fun and relaxing.Our cottage was terrific. Very comfortable and with all the mod cons we wanted.The location is sublime with ample activities for the family. We especially loved our kayak on the lake and the beautiful walks in the surrounding areas.I’d definitely return and I highly recommend Bombah Point for a place to unwind.

One of the most amazing experiences! These eco cottages are the real thing and absolutely wonderful, accomodating owners. The cottages themselves are beautiful and soaked in tranquility. Perfect if you want to engage with nature and disconnect from city life.

Had a really lovely weekend away at Bombah Point! We arrived late at night and Duncan kindly met us at the cottage to show us the ropes. The cottage was perfect - everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Really appreciated the electric blankets and daily firewood replenishment! We enjoyed the bathtub and games room, and were grateful for the amazing veggie garden to supplement our cooking. The location is lovely and remote while still being a close drive to so many beautiful places. Will be recommending to our friends! Thanks again!

I want to give this place 6 stars!I don't usually write such detailed reviews, but I wanted to share my experience at Bombah Point Eco Cottages because it was so special. This is the perfect getaway, only and hour and a quarter from Newcastle, but feels like you have stepped into a remote part of the world.Everything about our trip was brilliant. The new owners Lauren and Clint are so warm and welcoming. They made us feel at home right away, and nothing was too much trouble. I think they have been there a couple of months now and they are really passionate about the place and their guests.The cottage we stayed in is stunning, and really well appointed. They have thought of everything: the fireplace was ready to go and only needed a single match to light. The beds are luxurious and comfortable. The folding window around the bath opens up onto the beautiful private forest. The bluetooth speaker linked easily to our phones. The kitchen has everything we needed and more including sharp knives and a good frying pan. We even loved the chairs so much we want to get some of our own! Waking up surrounded by pristine peaceful forest, and having a quiet coffee on the wrap around verandah was bliss.We had a chance to walk around the entire property, a wildlife refuge covered with stunning forest. There are wallabies, whip birds, black cockatoos, brush turkeys, and we've heard there are koalas in the area too. We stopped on a rocky outcrop for snacks and admired the view in perfect tranquility. We also stopped by the orchard and chicken pen on the way back and picked up some fresh laid eggs and herbs. And then we drove 2 kms down the road to the local lake. Clint had dropped some kayaks down for us and we had a magic paddle on the lake, watching sea eagles fly along the tree-covered shoreline.We will definitely be going back. Can't wait for our next visit.

Our family stayed in Cottage 4. The kids loved sleeping in the loft bedrooms which included a double bed and two single beds separated by a sliding door. Beautiful leafy outlook...and quiet, so quiet..we didn't run into any other guests during our stay. Cottage has all we needed. Fireplace was amazing. Kids loved visiting the chooks and collecting eggs. Owners were wonderful. Lovely people. A relaxing escape to the country.
