Beachcomber on the Spit

This was the most disgraceful experience of my life. The website indicated that there was no minimum age for booking however a day into our stay Anthony kicked us out. We tried to ask why we were being kicked out and Anthony said it was due to the fact that we under the age of 30. My friends and I had driven 3 and a half hours to stay here and without any warning were removed from our accomodation. We were given only 3 hours to pack up all the bikes we had setup as well as find new accommodation. Anthony was extremely rude, accusing us of sneaking in and lying about our age. We did nothing of the sort and when we asked about it the details on the website, Anthony became defensive and threatened to not give us even a partial refund.

Great location right on the beach. Ground level unit is less than 50m from the beach. 5 min walk to surf club so shoes are optional. Superb place to chill with family & decompress from office hassles...!

Had a really enjoyable stay here. Its small, comfortable, safe and warm even in winter. Its no frills but very good location. Pool was heated.

Had an awesome stay here, stayed a week in a 3 bedroom top floor unit and the unit couldn't have been better. The main bedroom had an en-suite and wad of a good size.The other two bedrooms were of a good size with plenty of storage for clothes bags etc. Alarge open plan living/dining area and modern well equipped kitchen with heaps of equipment and crockery. The roof top terrace was a massive hit- simply awesome area. Less than 50mts to beach and 250mts to Sealife, Hogsbreath and other food places. Will definitely be back.

A lovely place just a short walk to the beach with just the boardwalk in between. Beachcomber was well appointed, clean and well looked after. Had a great holiday and the grandchildren loved the Surf Club.

Fantastic location 5-minute walk along the boardwalk to Mooloolaba. Great pool, easy access to a large well equipped unit ours was on the first floor. Large balcony, super quiet inside the unit. 1-minute walk to the beach. Only slight issue with the TV reception /internet access in our unit.

Very nice apartment, well appointed and very close to the beach. Stayed in the top floor Penthouse and only downside is not able to see the ocean/beach due to the overgrown trees!

Excellent position, right by the beach, can walk to all shops, restaurants etc. Property was very clean and tidy, gardens were lovely and well maintained. Our apartment was roomy, clean and very comfortable! Nice large balcony to enjoy the fresh air and sounds of the waves. Good, friendly communication with manager. Great place to stay and we will be back!! Thanks again, Fiona!

Very nice apartment. Looks newly renovated. Only a few metres from the beach.
