Yes Apex glass the place to go if you're looking for second class work and to be ripped off. We have taken 15 diamond shaped pieces of glass to be bevelled. Eddie called us to say that 7 pieces were cross cut. We didn't believe that we had done that but we just wore it and replaced all 7 pieces. They called to say that the job was completed. We picked up our glass and payment was made. Before leaving we checked the bevelling because a on a previous time there was a cracked piece of glass. Luckily we checked it while we were there. Eddie replaced it at his expense in which was the right thing to do. Unfortunately this time there wasn't just one. There were lots of issues. Uneven bevelling, glass scratched on the design, numerous amounts of chips and completely broken points. We thought we could work with it but unfortunately the chips were too big and couldn't be covered. There were another 4 pieces that had to be remade. We took the template back expecting Eddie to replace those 4 pieces. I left them with Michelle and I let her know that we were not happy with the quality of workmanship we received. She admitted that their bevelling machine needed to be serviced because it wasn't working properly. That same afternoon Eddie called and said we had to replace those pieces again even though he broke them because he had been paid we had no other option but to replace them. Also we had 2 days to organise this for they are closing their business down for a few months to go on an overseas holiday to Italy with everybody's profits. He also said that once this job was done he would no longer do any more bevelling. When we picked them up he offered us 50% off on further jobs. We were advised to take our glass elsewhere but we wanted to support them and their business for we have always used them. Unfortunately we will never use Apex glass again for they have appalling customer service and workmanship. Every time we went it was a 1 hour round trip. They wasted our time, money and effort and caused us so much stress
