I love this place! The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is always clean and the staff endeavour to keep it at a comfortable temperature to swim laps. My 2.5 year old loves the splash pool- we plan to start swimming lessons here soon.

Excellent swimming teachers and a good range of classes at various times, making it easier to find a suitable day and time to attend. If you have neurodiverse child/ren have a chat with management and they will do what they can to accommodate your child's needs. Good coffee is available, and a range of reasonably priced snacks are availble. The small kiddie pool is fun, and there's always a couple of lanes open for kids to use in the big pool, as well as recreational adult swimmers. It really caters to a wide range of patrons.

Good pool and gym. Lockers in change room need fixing but never will be. A shade over one end of the pool would be nice. Closed on public holidays - Google always gets this wrong. Check the pool’s website to be sure.

Great place to learn swimming.I have been taking my kid there for almost an year and have seen the transition from being scared of water to enjoy being in pool and swimming. All the teachers and staff are very supportive.Special thanks to Emily, Aidon for being patient and always encouraging kids.

Very happy with the teacher and how she taught my kids. Unfortunately that’s where it ended. The management is not easy to deal with at all.Be very aware of the make up lesson policy. If you can’t get there in there allotted time, you lose your money. Plus I’m going on holiday and they won’t pause only cancel lessons meaning I forfeit make up lessons. Can’t use them up at end.Facilities are good, heated pool great. In short. Management fail. Teacher, great

Very poor experience with this facility. Called on a Saturday morning to ask if they had a heated pool that I could use for gentle aqua 'walk the pool' exercises as Clem Jones hydro pool is closed for hydro over the weekend due to lots of learn to swim classes. The lovely lady on the phone assured me that there was indeed a 25m outdoor heated pool and that if I waited until after 9.30am I would be sure to be able to have a lane free or share a lane for disability/recovery physio gentle walking exercises. This was not to be the case, I was informed the pool was NOT heated and whilst there was a 'walk in' access lane I was made to feel completely unwelcome, and was summarily dismissed. My physio and coach and I returned to the car without the gentle workout we had planned and I was looking forward to.The outdoor heated pool did have capacity and I should probably have stood my ground, paid the somewhat higher fee rather than feeling discriminated against (having some mobility issues, definately older (in my fifties) and probably a couple of sizes larger than I used to be as well!)The pool and gym facilities are advertised as suitable for all ages with the ever popular toddler and children learn to swim classes as well as adult learn to swim classes, squad training, fun activities as well as an indoor heated pool - which I was informed is not available for the public, only private swimming classes. Both indoor and outdoor heated pools have a minimum depth of of 1.2m which - according to to the website allows those who need it, to stand up and have a rest during swim lessons.Disappointed yes very much, disgruntled even more so and still working on whether or not I was disciminated against due to my age, my mobility, my size, my exercise needs or whether or not I should have been had a private rather than public membership? As far as reviews go, this one has not been pleasant to provide and at the end of the day I am the one who has been disadvantaged and trust that other reviewers have more pleasant and commendable comments to make.No I shall not be returning to the inferior facilities and unpleasant staff member representing Griffith Acquatic and Fitness Centre at the time that I arrived - not shall I give them a go at a later time.FYI, my previous physio recommended Griffith Acquatic and Fitness Centre as a good heated pool, due to the fact that there is normally no-one there being the least popular heated swimming option in the local area! So I guess people do vote with their feet, arms and legs!

My family have been coming to this pool for a few years now and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and Manager Jo. Always excellent customer service with the safety of their swimmers as the number one priority (as it should be!). Parking is easy and plenty of room in the pool for us casual swimmers, which is why we continue to drive straight past Hibiscus to come to Griffith. Jo is always happy to answer any questions and makes you feel welcome. Thanks again for another great swim!
