Joy and Jan are always welcoming when shopping in their store. The shop itself is beautifully presented and stocks many pieces you won't easily find everywhere else. Definitely recommend!

A little homeward store was located at the corner of the road and just opposite of The Drive. The owner couples were lovingly great with all the assistance if you need some advice for your decorative project. Most of the items were handmade, well-selected, and full of personalities; therefore, they could be dear on a price tag. But you wouldn’t regret on the purchase. You get what you pay for.The local shops absolutely need a local support. We could purchase only one little item from family run shops, it would help to keep them going. It’s not healthy for our friendly community to keep losing some local businesses to superstores.

No Joy here!I bought a set of dining room chair cushions, online from Pieces of Joy. They were not inexpensive (especially when you took into account the freight to New Zealand) but I was prepared to pay because they were exactly the color that I wanted for my newly decorated home.However, when the cushions arrived they were a completely different color than the one that was shown on the website. After much debate with Jan & Joy, I gave up trying to get them to take any responsibility - apparently the problem was just a lighting/perception issue. See attached photos.....The best that they could come up with, was a suggestion that I return the goods at my cost. That didn't make any sense as I would have lost over $200 because they also wouldn't refund the original cost to send the goods to me in the first place (around $140)Very unhappy customer, won't be returning to Pieces of Joy.

A little gem is 'pieces of Joy' if you want high end home decor. The shop goes all out for Christmas decorations. Scented candles are exquisite, long lasting perfume too. I have got my eye on a two seater sofa. It's on the way to Sovereign Hill, check it out.
