Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs Hoppers Crossing

The most experienced ever in my life, I have recently took my Holden commodore ssv redline wagon to repair the door. 30/5/23..and I go told it will be ready by 9/6/23.....and I receive a message saying it will be ready by 13/6/23....then I receive another message saying it will be ready 15/6/23??????? What a joke!!!! What make things worse, they remove my brand new spare tyre with the brand new rim in my car? And replace with old rubbish tyre and rim, so in another way they stole my property. So if you think this is place??? Think twice again.

Pleasantly surprised at every turn. They repaired damage to my car and made it look new, towed it to my house and organised Ubers to and from car rental place with ease. Looked after me while waiting with great coffee and all-round excellent service. Couldn't fault them and their systems are efficient and effective.

Efficient customer service. Make sure you organise a hire car separately if needed. There were some quality issues with the repairs when I went to pick up the car which meant leaving it there again. However they fixed it all up and communication was great.

The most ever worse experience I hade with them, it was my first time to come to them and I did chose them based on Google reviews which shows almost good reviews but the reality was totally different with me. I hade to bring my care 3 times to them to complete my repair after receiving the car first time from them not fully repaired and the manager with wide mustache was convincing me that the electronic problem remaining in my car is from my key batteries which is totally wrong and it was related to a faulty part they missed it’s replacement during the repair. This manager with wide mustache doesn’t aware about anything and he keeps asking me to come to collect the car without making sure from the job/spare parts if it’s correctly ordered/done or not.He wasted my time a lot by his unprofessional way in supervising the work and quality before contacting the customers and wast their time.My insurance company rated them with having quality issues as a repairers regarding my case.The ladies at the reception are nice but I think the mangers ruin their image by giving them wrong directions to contact customers without making sure from the quality of the actual repair behind the counter.Very bad experience and definitely will try another repairers next time.

Terrible workmanship, terrible customer service by management, good customer service from front desk but terrible communication. Only went here as my insurance only uses them.Not at fault claim from November to march before I got my car back undamaged and in good enough condition, although part of the delay was due to the Christmas period.First time collecting the car my bull bar was the wrong colour (very faint, they said they must have painted other parts nearby leaving mine coated in other paint), wiring looms were not all connected and huge scratch on inside of the bar where you couldn't possibly scratch it while driving it.Second attempt they once again scratched it, but smaller, on the front. At this point I asked my insurance company Bingle if I could take it elsewhere. Bingle offered to send state manager to look over the car if they try again, so I agreed. Upon drop off again one of the managers also made a comment that he thought I was being pedantic about my car.This is where the communication broke down, because the state managers schedule had to be factored in. Had a text saying ready by x date, when my hire car would expire. Returned hire car, called the store to book an uber to pick up my car, then was told it wasn't ready as manager hadn't signed it off yet. Told it'd be ready next day. Had to call insurance again to get another car same day 30 minutes before close. From here, I realised I had to call the store each time I'm told it will be ready before I return my car, even though how am I supposed to know I need to extend hire car if they don't tell me it's not ready yet.I had to extend 3 times. 2 times cos manager hadn't inspected yet, ok fine but waste of about 3 hours of my life. Final time had to extend because the state manager themselves rejected the rework.Final collection date I was dubious because it wasn't looked over by manager again, but collected ok, no damage this time, best paint job they've done in terms of quality (willing to bet they had to send it to a professional to get it painted because this time there was no dust or foreign material under the paint).However, suspiciously they had now put a cover on my licence plate. Queried this to the front desk staff, they didn't know about it and said maybe they threw it in. I suspect it's hiding damage under the plate, but further inspection I can see the grill on the bull bar is slightly bent (easy to fix with a mallot) and plastic screws to hold it in place are either half sticking out or crooked.Never again. Changed insurance companies so I never have to deal with these clowns again.Edit: free ubers to and from for drop off and pick up of your car is a nice feature though.Also worth mentioning they provide no breakdown of the work performed or any paperwork whatsoever, which I believe most other repairers do so you know exactly what they've done. This is important for reworks especially as I have no idea if I now have 5 layers of paint on my bull bar.

Excellent customer service received from Melissa and the team. My concerns were listened to and I received a prompt response. Uber's were organised for me, it made the whole process very smooth. My car was returned in excellent condition.

I have found the staff being very polite and helpful indeed. I've had a vehicle repaired at Capital S.M.A.R.T. a few years ago and everyone is very considerate to my needs while I wait for the damages to my car to be assessed and repaired. I highly recommend this place. They are the BEST !!!!!

I can't speak highly enough of Capital S.M.A.R.T repairs. Everything about them just oozes professionalism from the super friendly and efficient desk staff to the mechanics who are responsible for doing the repairs.My experience was fantastic from the initial contact being made to my car being picked up upon completion of the repairs with the icing on the cake definitely being the amazing job they done of the repairs. Without a doubt a 10 out of 10 experience. If you ever need repairs done I would strongly recommend you look no further than Capital S.M.A.R.T
