Godfreys Shellharbour Superstore

Went in to Godfreys Shellharbour today and was so pleased with the service i received, Liam the store manager went above and beyond when compared with most sales staff I’ve encountered, he was extremely knowledgeable, spent a considerable amount of time showing me and explaining all the different models. Extremely pleased with my experience and highly recommend this store.

I've always found the staff to be friendly & helpful, and their knowledge of products is second to none. I've bought here a few times and would always go back, as they always help to find the perfect machine for your needs. They are great at listening to what you want, which then trahnslates into the right product for the job. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I sent me vacuum away to see if it could be repaired. It was returned with a part missing. I was told that the repairer had not removed anything from my cleaner. They told me I could send it back to the repairer again to see if the part could be found. I would not send it back again as I doubted it would be returned with all parts in tact. VERY disappointed with this company. I told my neighbour who had a look at the vacuum cleaner and re attached a small part and my machine is now working perfectly. Doesn't say too much about Godfreys repair company, I think they only want to sell you a new machine.

Happy to make sale but when there is an issue they don’t want to hear about it. Godfrey’s really need to take a leaf out of dysons book about what customer service is.

I am very unhappy with my new Hoover Ultra Power Model 5222. I have been a very good customer of Godfreys for many years. Before Covid i came into to store to stress my disappointment of the performance of this machine. It consistently has trouble picking the slightest bit of dirt from my new carpet and eventually i need to pick up by hand, it also is useless in the hand held for the car. When i came back to the store i was offered $50 trade in for the appliance that was only recently new. i think this is very bad.

I visited Godfreys this past Thursday with what I thought was a broken vacuum in hand. Thanks to the great staff the issue was identified as a blockage and after some TLC from two of the staff members my vacuum is back in working order. The staff went above and beyond to help a vacuum novice and thankfully I don't need a new one, but when the time comes I will definitely be back!

Happy with the products purchased, but the problem arose when we came back awhile later to get the product fixed. The item was sent out, along with the attachments. We came back to pick up the item after we were called and that was a mistake and our item was not there, so we went for nothing. Once called again, the attachments were not with the fixed item. I talked to the staff several times and came in to discuss several times and they pretty much said we don’t know what happened to them. I understand things happen, but that is when you offer to replace the items or offer compensation in some way. Unprofessional and very unsatisfied with the service.

Excellent customer service.Very friendly new girl and her colleague was also very friendly.Both staff took the time to go through some troubleshooting and fixed the issue within 1 minute

18/3/2021 Update as we have had no vacuum since January as after a few months it stopped working.We have asked for a full refund as we have had to purchase a new vacuum and we are not getting any cooperation from the store staff or manager.Very disappointing and definitely do not recommend this store. Do not trust what they tell you. We are currently in discussions with fair trading as they said to try and work this out with the store 1st before they get involved. We were told by the store manager because we had this vacuum more than 3 months they wouldn't be issuing a refund.
