The venue itself is great. Plenty of space and a range of areas to sit. Staff were friendly and helpful.The only downside is the location and getting there on public transport hence the 3 stars. Unfortunately it's a significant downside as what would be a 10 min drive turns out to be 40 minutes from the city on a tram.

The venue is stunning – and Adam and the team went above and beyond to help complete our vision for the day. If you need to do an event in Melbourne – especially a big one – then the Timber Yard is the number one location on your list

Very expansive venue managed by a highly efficient crew, with the prowess to curate a sold out Charlotte de Witte event.Audio video production was peak global standard. The perfect industrial backdrop for headliners and supporting artists alike.Toilet situation could be improved.5 stars for this specific event, 4 stars for the venue.

Came here for a candlelight concert event and was picture perfect. The street parking is free and no restrictions during the evening, but recommend coming here at least 45 mins early to get the best spots. Venue looks clean, new and well decorated. Toilets are clean and plenty of urinals. The bar has plenty of drink options and various beers on tap (furphy, cider, other pale ale options). The venue inside is spacious, but keep in mind no air conditioning, so if the weather is warm wear something light!

First time at this newish venue. Great set-up for summer fun and plenty of outdoor cover if it rains. Drinks were well priced and the staff and security were friendly.

An excellent venue for the 2023 Melbourne Gin Festival, with over 50 distillers and food vans.On what is predicted to be a high of 37°, the large aircon units are doing a great job....cool change was a welcome arrival at ~5:30pm.Kudos to the organisers for selecting The Timber Yard.

I came here for the Melbourne Cheese and Wine Festival on Saturday to help a vendor, and it was a fantastic day! The venue is gorgeous with a rustic feel. It looks to be a former warehouse or factory. The natural light is awesome. The location is very convenient and has a lot of all-day street parking available for guests. My only criticism would be it can be quite warm inside and even the guests who were casually walking around were sweating heavily. It wasn't a super hot day (peaked at around 26C), so I cannot imagine what a 30C+ day would be like in here.
