Mudgee's Getaway Cottages
I can only review staying on 7 market street. It is not on the farm and should not in anyway be considered a farm stay. You can access the farm by walking through a large factory carpark. The house is comfortable but fairly old, and certainly not as idyllic as described.It was pretty annoying as much nicer accommodation is available in Mudgee.

Mudgee's Getaway Cottages
We had a family gathering for a large group and the cottages were excellent. Our age range was diverse, and all enjoyed the stay. We had use of the Farmhouse Cottage which acted as a base for dinners and five other cottages. Staff in support were very helpful and Elizabeth was a great host in sorting when, where and how for this large group and suggesting activities. Thank You Elizabeth and team it will long live in our family's memories.

Mudgee's Getaway Cottages
We spent a weekend at Mudgee’s getaway cottages recently. It was an amazing experience and Elizabeth, Alison and Farmer Gary were lovely. The place has everything a family getaway could ask for - animals, sandpit, toys, sports equipment, vegetable gardens, fire pit and a homely cottage! We’ll definitely be going back.

Such a beautiful property far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend it so close to town,so many things for children to do and the gardens are beautiful never been anywhere before were you can just walk out your door and pick fresh vegetables.

Mudgee's Getaway Cottages
Lovely large house. We had 6 adult guests. Kitchen facilities great for the group. Bathrooms were very good. Lounge big enough for all of us. The grounds are extensive and will take you some time to look around and enjoy. River is along the back, so bring fishing gear. Only a few minutes walk to pub and restaurents. Highly recommend for family or groups.

Thanks Elizabeth for hosting our stay of 18 uni friends and 20 for the dinner on the Friday night. Here is just one of the many comments from our group …. Great weekend guys...what fun! Nailed that house, be a hard one to beat. thx again. The Manor fitted our group perfectly with overflow to a neighbouring cottage. Would highly recommend to other large groups.

PERFECT. Thank you so much Elizabeth and farmer Garry for an amazing family getaway. The love and passion that Elizabeth has for this property is remarkable. Truely grateful for the work they do and thankful they share it so freely for others to enjoy.In 3 days we did not hear one complaint from our children, they never said they were bored or asked what else they could do. They did not request TV, they had so much to entertain them, none of us wanted to leave and will definitely be back.Thank you so much for a memorable holiday with your lovely animals and making us feel so welcome.

We enjoyed our stay at Getaway. The farmyard was amazing - so many animals. Planning to come back again and bring younger family members. Idea spot for both children and adults. AN added advantage was that it was so close to Gulgong as well as the wineries. Thank you Elizabeth and the staff.
