Ron Hill Automatics

Ron Hill was referred as a good place to get a transmission service and I am pleased to say that I’m very happy with the service to my Mercedes C63 transmission and highly recommend them. It’s running beautiful after the oil and flush service.

Just had our Holden Colorado automatic transmission serviced with the Ron Hill Team. Great service from booking it in to collecting the car after the service, Great service & communication, will definitely be back for the next service.

Had a heavy duty upgrade and service on my GU patrol auto trans to prep for towing. Genuinely surprised at how much having my transmission serviced improved how the car drives.I thought a rough idle and shaking 4wd gear knob just came with having a diesel. It Idles better now, Take off feels smoother and more responsive and gear changes are really fast. Drives like a different car. HighlyRecommend these guys.

From start to finish, all staff were particularly welcoming and well educated in their field. I did a valve upgrade in the transmission and fitted a bigger sump pan in my Ford F250. I’ve noticed such a difference in the change of the transmission ( certainly for the better) compared to prior to the upgrade. Wow what can one say we travelled over 250klm just to go here for a Upgrade to my 100 series 5 speed Landcruiser Transmission especially done for towing we had herd so many people say to us on various Nomad and caravanning sites also Streetmachine sites.Give these Guys at Ron Hill nothing but praise ,So we decided to contact them and we noticed on the long trip home the big difference also in the fuel the smooth changes ,so if you want the job done properly then see these Guys at Ron Hill and a BIG Thankyou to Rach who even organized a lift to the sunshine Plaza and also picked us up when my 100 series was finished.These Guys explain everything to you so give yourself peace of mind before setting off on your Lap or any trip see these Guys first you wont regret it .

They are excellent to deal with, from Rachel on the front counter to Tim in the workshop. They kept me updated on progress through our the day. Even worked a little overtime to get me on my way. I was expecting a full recon, but this turned out not to be necessary saving me thousands. The auto trans ran better than new on my return home. Highly recommend.

The staff were able to answer all questions and were extremely helpful with quotes. Also great information with the quotes so you knew what you were getting. We had a cooler and valve body upgrade on our Ford Ranger and from the moment we picked it up we could feel the improved smooth gear change. Will be back there when the transmission needs its next service.

After calling multiple gearbox mechanics and having less than average customer service from them I called Rob Hill Autos, after multiple recommendations.
