Absolutely beautiful, relaxing surroundings. I have stayed here a few times and love the grounds and beautiful town.

The grounds at the showgrounds are kept in good condition.

Carnival was just like every year however, everything is always so pricy. I recorded the end half of the fireworks show, however, when they started, they were roughly 20 min late and started quite abruptly also. There were a few faulty fireworks that went off on the ground and there were no fences or lines to show how far away someone has to be in order to keep safe. For example, teens who don't know better going with their mates and sitting as close to the action as possible. Having no guidelines or fences could be deadly, and I believe this town should spend a little less money on the fireworks so they can get safety lines. But hey, at least the food was good. And the fireworks show was still a hit. Can't wait to see what they come up with for new year.
