The setting is beautiful and I love the big gum trees! However, dominant cohort seems to be apprentice tradies from the city who use their first bank loan to outcompete each other on how big a 4WD they need to rev engines on a simple dirt road while being on a red P plate. Everyone wants their freedom to disturb others. Other than that it's expensive and facilities need basic TLC.

Nice big sites for vans, clean bathrooms/showers, I loved the location (only a few mins to drive to the beach) and the staff were lovely!

Stayed for 1 night $101 for a powered site very expensive the amenities are run down caution tape blocks of half of the playground as a bridge is about to fall. The showers and toilets wherefilthy. games room was closed at 4:30 would not recommend

Unfriendly staff who smile when talking to co workers but stop smiling when they speak to customers. But this is completely irrelevant becuase if you camp on Lani's island away from everyone else you will be in paradise. It was one of the greatest camping trips I've ever taken. I love the natural environment. The gatekeepers mean very little. Just ignore them. Pay the small fee and experience unspoiled nature. You won't regret it.

Very noisy with mower and blowers .they don't care if your car is there rocks going every were . untidy toilets ,will not be going back there .run by a bunch of cowboys.well over priced

This was a last minute booking. At the end of a long day driving day. Our mobile data wasn't great, so gave them a call, booked a night, arrived after hours. The whole process was easy, friendly, with clear instructions. The park was just terrific, family and animal friendly, a nice balance of permanents. An added treat was the location, beautiful views, walks. My favourite part was the cleaner, he was so lovely and diligent and did a brilliant job. I highly recommend Lanis as a place to stay. Ps, did I mention we didn't have to unhook for the night, added bonus.

The Young lady at checkin was quite rude and dismissive regarding boom gate entry and cars on sites. I just felt like another number rather than a customer.The powered sites were very messy and not well maintained. I had to chase down a worker to clean our sites before we set up. He was very pleasant and obliging.Other family members stayed in cabins which were tiny, rundown and expensive for what they were.Sorry for the bad review but we won’t be camping at Lanis again for our annual reunions.

Great spot, great staff. Lovely being on the edge of the lake, under the cabbage tree palms while being across the lane from the pool, the coffee shop, amenities and the camp kitchen. And the cinema. The days before the 28th December were amazingly serene but it's a bit of a madhouse afterwards. Make sure you meet Sarah at the coffee shop: she's an absolute love. The park is dog friendly too and there's plenty of safe dog walking space. It's a great space for kids too, even older kids can bike out to and around the island and keep busy. I'll definitely be returning.

Have been coming up here for years, friendly staff always very helpful. Very reasonable pricing. The pools, amenities, camp kitchen, cabins, camp sites, island camping always very clean and well maintained, lawns always mowed, gardens always tidy. Recommend highly.

Ive always had a great time at LanisHowever this stay I was shocked at the front counter staff. They insisted that I pay for 1 extra night IMMEDIATELY even though I was on a hired boat on the water. When I explained that I was already staying at the park and would be back by early afternoon to pay the lady said no because it was to busy…….This morning there are at least 7 empty sites near me.Turns out that the lady was just on a power trip and I could have enjoyed my day on the boat!
