I love the showground. It is a good place to visit just for its peaceful surrounds. You will find beautiful gum trees , kookaburra's and even the odd rabbit. I like to exercise at this spot. Good for Tai Chi and stretching your legs. Like the bookfeast yearly event etc.

Too expensive for me. To start my 2 showjumpers would have cost me around $300 and entry was $1 for a first prize of $20. 40 started in Grafton I was told 15 in Coffs. Maybe that's what they want. Used to be a good show a few years ago and I came at least a couple of times.

Caters for a wide range of functions but is a showground by design and community expectations. The local show has been running for over 100yrs.The council needs to givevthem back the northern land and allow them to get an entrance other then off the highway. Plenty of buildings suitable for weddings, conferences,business launches and training. Constant upgrading of facilities such as lighting makes it a cheap alternative to other function centres. This one allows you to have outdoor fireworks as part of your function which adds a wow factor.There is also lots of areas for parking.

If only you could give 0 stars. I had a long term commercial lease in the main pavilion for a commercial food business. The landlord, does not use a Real Estate agent or other qualified person to manage leases, they self-manage" all leases

Great forshore area and markets and pet friendly to boot. Cex club is alway good for a great feed and reasonable priced drinks.
