A really thoughtful military monument that is well worth the visit. Do yourself a healthy favour and take the walk up the hill from the township (you can drive up if walking is not an option for you). As well as the monument itself you get some great views of the Albury township and surrounds.

A very peaceful, well kept and beautiful location, with some stunning views over Albury. An absolute must to visit when in the area, and especially good during sunset or sunrise. Parking is all around the monument in the centre, and there's views from all directions around the central monument, with a few steps leading down. Toilet facilities at the top of the hill too, and a wonderful place to visit.

Great views and bushwalks, as we pay respect to those who fought in WWI and WWII.There are three ways to get to the Monument:- bushwalk track- staircase and concrete track- driveWe drove as there was no way our kids (or us) would have made it up the concrete track and we didn't know about the bushwalk til we reached the top. There isn't a great deal of parking up the top so probably better to avoid peak times.Once at the top, the monument, alone was magnificent. You can quietly walk around and read the information and dedications to those from WWI and WWII.It was during this walk that we stumbled across some paths that turned out to be bushwalks. The initial tracks from the monument were very, very narrow but eventually opened up as they joined to other tracks. There are some tables, a BBQ station as well as toilets at the top. There's a lookout at the top overlooking Albury. It was nice but some of the trees were blocking the view. What's nearby:- Albury Botanic Gardens- Oddies Creek Adventure Playground

Good area to visit if you stay for couple of days in Albury. You can either hike up or drive all the way up here. Parking around the Monument. Can have eye-bird view of Albury from this hill. Probably best during sunset or sunrise.Very well maintained with toilet facility and some tables and benches for resting or picnic. There are walks starting from this hill too but we didnt do any.

This is a park on the road up to monument hill in Albury. It is a very nature focused park with the slippery side built into the hillside. There is a few other play things including a swing set. There is a large flat oval where cricket, football or playing with the dog with a ball. Parking available.

What a great tribute to our soldiers past and present. The whole site was clean as a whistle and had a view to match the scale of the monument itself. If you have time go and see it in the night time as well.

Monument Hill in Albury, New South Wales, is a beautiful and historic park that offers breathtaking views, lush greenery, and rich heritage. As a nature lover and history enthusiast, I recently visited Monument Hill in Albury and was captivated by its beauty and significance. The park is located on top of a hill, offering panoramic views of the city of Albury and the surrounding countryside. The vista from the hilltop is simply stunning, with expansive views of the cityscape, the Murray River, and the distant hills. It's a perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset, take in the beauty of the landscape, and capture some stunning photographs. The park is well-maintained and features well-manicured lawns, mature trees, and colorful gardens, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance. There are plenty of seating areas, picnic tables, and BBQ facilities, making it a great place for picnics, gatherings, or simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. One of the main attractions of Monument Hill in Albury is the War Memorial, which stands proudly at the top of the hill. The monument is a significant tribute to the fallen soldiers from the region who served in various conflicts, and it provides a solemn and reflective space for visitors to pay their respects and honor their sacrifices. The memorial is well-maintained and features plaques, statues, and flags, adding to its historical significance.
