Great place to pull up and stay whilst travelling. $15 night, 2 night max stay. Clean and well maintained.

Love these gardens such a pretty place good town Benalla as it's not as crowded & busy as Wangaratta.

Easy walk to the Royal Hotel for a great meal.

Fantastic venue for Auskick at twilight.

Great location, toilets were clean and tidy with paper, soap and bins. $12 a night.

The CAMPING AREA at the Showgrounds & Recreation Reserve, near the Botanic Gardens, has lovely green areas with toilets (recently new) that are clean and open 24 hours. There is NO WATER available onsite (none that's drinkable) and NO Showers or Power but OK if you need a safe place to park while you explore the town (with it's fabulous artwork on nearly every building) and the surrounding areas, for an asking donation of $12 a night. It's within walking distance to the main street with it's shops & paintings. There's a hotel across the road and the Botanic Gardens just next door. All in all, just passable for place to spend a night or two.
