Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens
This beautiful location is truly a hidden gem! Nestled into the landscape of Daylesford, Wombat Hill was the perfect mini adventure for two Melbournians and our Frenchie pup! The cafe is dog friendly with an undercover alfresco. Beautifully made coffee and some of the most picturesque walks I've seen.

Nice find this one. Peaceful surrounds. Perfectly laid out foe both walking and hort scenic drive track. Not massive so don't be afraid to walk it. Impressive trees.

A great botanic garden. Love the big trees and the easy paths. Hot house. Flowers were brilliant. After 60 years still love climbing up the tower. Another great lunch was had today.

Beautiful gardens with lovely trees. Nice fernery walk and nice grounds to have a picnic. Old tower in the middle which you can climb up to the top with views. Also beautiful flowers in a green house to view. We enjoyed our time there

Cute and well looked after gardens. On the small side, took us less than an hour to walk most of the grounds.I wouldn't prioritise this over other attractions in the area, but worth a look if you have spare time.

A peaceful place to walk around and enjoy the foliage. We went in the afternoon an hour before sunset.

Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens
Fantastic location for an easy walk, with a few gentle hills and some sections with steps. We visited in early/mid spring and the flower and foliage were an amazing sight. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax and tonnes of photo opportunities. The Pioneer Memorial Tower was a great find with stunning views from the top. Keep in mind the stairs climbing to the top of the tower are steep and narrow.

Great place to visit and get a meal. Parking at the top, a short walk down to the cafe, restaurant. Lots of nature to see and take in.

Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens
Small Botanic Gardens. Some seats around but not many. No bbqs or tables. Toilets available. Some trees had signs on them to say what they were. A scenic drive going around the gardens too. Parking available.
