Nhill Golf Club

27/12/22 our golfing group went on a four day golfing trip from our homes in Adelaide. Played Nhill in the morning, then Horsham in the afternoon. Next was Hamilton in the morning and Warrnambool in the afternoon. Next day off to Port Fairy in the morning and Portland in the afternoon. Final day was Casterton in the morning and to finish off our trip we played Penola. A great trip playing some fantastic golf courses.As mentioned on a previous visit Nhill golf course is a great country course that is in excellent condition. Fairways are manicured with excellent roll. Greens were also in excellent condition. Be sure to add Nhill to your bucket list of golf courses to play. You won’t be disappointed.22/1/21 Our golfing group went on a 2 day golfing trip from our homes in Adelaide driving to and playing Nhill, Kaniva, Bordertown and Lake Albert. All courses have WATERED FAIRWAYS AND GREENS except Kaniva - has watered greens only (winter course).We had a fantastic time and can highly recommend this as a great “short” golfing holiday.Nhill golf course is a great country course that is in excellent condition. Fairways are manicured with excellent roll. Greens were also in excellent condition. Members were very welcoming. We met Phil (president) who informed us that their groundskepper had been on holiday and volunteers were maintaining the course - I complimented him on the condition of the course and that members should be very proud of their efforts. That evening while dining at the Union hotel one of the members Brian who was volunteering that day came up and asked us what we thought of the course - we let him know we had a great round of golf and the course was in fantastic condition.

One of the best golf courses in the region and it just continues to improve.

A great place in Nhill for breakfast for those in a hurry. Very pleasant staff, and a good variety of food available

great 18 grass green holes. superb fairways.exceptionally freindly locals.

Fantastic golf course for small country town.Excellent fairways and greens , course very challenging. A testament to the hard working members of the club.

Wonderful course, very well looked after, greens ran true, not much borrow. Played 27 holes. This course is a diamond in the rough. Make sure you play it if in the area, you won't be disappointed.
