Mallacoota Golf and Country Club

Came here to the bistro twice this year - food was superb, cooked perfectly and the service was phenomenal. All of the staff were polite, including the young casuals who all did a fantastic job.Also played golf at the club this year and Carol was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home. Course is fantastic for those who love a casual game with great scenery.Loved it and will be back again ready for more!

Food was good but atmosphere very disappointing. We were seated beside pool table which had a group of 6 to 8 year olds rolling the pool balls around the table and bouncing on floor, including under our table. Very noisy and dangerous as anyone could have stepped on a ball and slipped over. When I mentioned to management that may be they could put the balls away I was told it was for kids to play with.

This is a nice place for a drink, a meal and has great views.

Food good, but a little expensive. Lovely outlook over golf course, with kangaroos on site.Quite crowded. Necessary to book ahead.

Wow, so busy but of course Easter and school holidays are their most busy time of the year. The meals are so big so expect to either order an Entree or take a container to use as a foggy bag. Very reasonably priced drinks and most importantly very friendly smiling staff.

THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL - What can I say, traveling Vic and come across Mallacoota Golf and Country Club, where we booked a table for 15. Entering the place and we felt like it was a school camp or retirement home. Thinking not to judge a book by its cover we would give it a go. What a bad decision that was, we pulled 10 hairs out of the 15 meals we ordered and they had there cheifs smoking / vaping in the kitchen while cooking the food was the worst we have the whole trip and would have to say the worst place in Vic. When we brought this to there attention we were verbally attached by the staff and chiefs. Which also lead to a verbal attached the next day at a local cafe. Do your self a favor and STAY AWAY FOR THIS PLACE.We have the Health inspectors on there way.

Wonderful pot and parma. Nice 180° view of the sea. Enjoyed sitting outside.
