The reception and fly out was very goodHowever arriving home in the rain was complete opposite.The terminal was closed. We stood in the rain waiting for our bags.A number of Taxis were booked mid flight and they arrived one at a time.Again standing in the rain as the pickup is some distance from the terminal which was closed anyway.Need to have terminal open during all flight times.Cover for baggage collectionBetter access to front door. Road is blocked off no access.

A central hub in Victoria is the award winning Bendigo Airport situated at 35 Victa Road East Bendigo. It’s also worth noting that Qantas has flights to and from Sydney out of Bendigo. There are also other businesses that are aviation related at the airport too. Today, overhead, we heard the heart thumping sounds of thunderous jets and spinning rotors of the Army’s Chinook A15-301 helicopter flying to refuel at Bendigo. I along with an impromptu crowd made our way to the airport to watch the helicopter land, refuel and take off and make its way north from Bendigo. What a fantastic free spectacle for all of us.

Upon getting to the airport and learning that, Bendigo people, meant to return, had now boarded plane number 3. The first to hF to be aborted due to blown engines etc. 4 hours late and leatni g this from passengers, not staff at Bendigo Airport. Really lousy staff, and very poor maintenance crews... Not at all funny, considering, I travelled an hour in to pick up my visitor to Bendigo from Sydney. 0/10 Confidence....

There for the innuagral touchdown for the new QANTAS Link flight between Sydney and Bendigo as QF1407. Terminal is small but has all you need for a regional hub. It's all very fresh and new, paid carparking (not covered) is literally 50m out the front door.

Very clean, you can get a great coffee there, plenty seats and they are building a bigger terminal which should be done in about 6 months

First visit. Impressive building. Plane from Sydney was 2hrs late lol. Good service for Bendigo. Cheaper parking too!
