South Beach Recreation Reserve
Beautiful shady grassed area near the kiosk and toilets. An easy walk to the beach. Great area for picnics and so close to the dog beach too.It is a pity the train doesn't run from Fremantle to the station near here.

South Beach Recreation Reserve
It's too busy these days, especially in summer. Lots of French tourists basically squatting there so not much privacy like there was many years (let alone decades) ago. They are mostly quiet so it's still pretty chill, though. The new additions for basketball/netball/sport was a good choice.

South Beach Recreation Reserve
Beautiful place, often busy, many people and areas for dogs. Bunch of conscious events and groups making music around. I love the sunsets here! There is a cafe with a public toilet and showers, a few showers directly on the beach.

South Beach Recreation Reserve
A relaxing and very green recreation area located right at the forefront of South Beach Fremantle. Perfect spot for picnics and days at the beach. Next to a conveniently located cafe and bike path the reserve is very accessible and has plenty of car spaces. Can fill up quickly on Summer weekends however you can always find your own quiet spot on the grass or sand.

I pay my respects to the Nyungaar people as the original and traditional custodians of the land. Great place for families. No barbecue facilities though but a couple of restaurants close by. Basketball and play area make it good for the kids. The water is pristine and perfect for swimming.

Beautiful space. The basketball court surface looks great but the back boards and hoops are aged and weathered. There is netball ring also for those who want practice netball shooting.
