It is such a lovely & peaceful area. I could just imagine being out in the country, watching all the birds and maybe a fishing line dangling in the water.

Need a break or just refresh your mind, then a walk around the reserve may help

A tiny and secluded nature reserve for ducks. Pretty to look at with paths, seating and shady spots. Attached to the June Road Reserve which has toilet facilities and swings or play sets for children, with room to run around. Walking distance to the beach.

Some history - This area use to be called the swamp in the 70's. Kids from all around would frequent the swamp and play for hours. The large swamp was to the North and obviously the small swamp to the South. The small swamp had a make shift pre - BMX track where kids would race on another on their dragster bikes, banana seats, sissy bars and definitely not a helmet to be seen anywhere. This is another place that once was and now is something else, for those of us old enough to remember, great times, simpler too. Similar changes to the old primary school. Thanks for reading.

I love taking my girls for a walk around this lake. With a variety of bird life and frequent seating areas to watch them, it's a peaceful retreat from the bussle of life. Just do me a favour and please don't feed the birds.

One of if not the best kept secret in Rockingham.... Excellent park for a walk or play, natural lake and water birds.

Pleasant suburban park popular with locals for walks, both with and without dogs. Watch out for duck poo - you'll track it home or into the car.

This is a really good park and play equipment for younger children under the shade of mature trees. My little granddaughter (2yrs) loved it.
