A Bloomin' Good Time at Victoria State Rose Garden!So, I recently decided to take a couple of buddies to the Victoria State Rose Garden for a chill day out. We were all excited to see what this gorgeous garden had in store for us, and honestly, it didn't disappoint!We spent the day leisurely strolling around, soaking up the good vibes, and sniffing the blooms like we were on a mission to find the best scent. The whole place was buzzing with nature and beauty, making it the perfect spot for a laid-back outing.Sure, we may have picked a time when the roses were a bit shy and out of season, but hey, that didn't stop us from having an awesome experience! There was still plenty of lovely greenery and picturesque scenery to keep us entertained and feeling one with nature.Victoria State Rose Garden is an absolute gem, and we all had a blast. If you're looking for a sweet spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply bask in the beauty of the great outdoors, this garden's got you covered. Can't wait to go back during rose season to see it in full bloom!

Just visited at the end of November. Beautifully laid out, lots of colour but blooms weren't at their peak I think. Might be the recent crazy weather! Great for photo taking I would say, and it doesn't take long to stroll through. Good for a lazy post lunch walk.

We had a family picnic here on Boxing Day and loved the peace, the beauty of the endless rose varieties, the antics of the Blue Wrens, and we had our picnic under a big shady Peppercorn tree, far away from crowded beaches, and the bargain hunting Boxing day throngs. It was so peaceful.

Wonderful place to sit and picnic. Plenty of rose varieties to see.The adjacent Mansion and its landscape are beautiful.

Beautifully manicured garden of different kinds and colours of roses. Perfect layout and neat presentation. Lush lawns connected to a larger garden called “Werribee Park Lush grounds an old mansion”. Ample parking and walking due to the size if the park. Bbq and picnic area with public clean toilet. Some weeks would have food trucks and live music. This garden is somewhat connected to the Werribee Zoo! About half an hour drive from Melbourne. Accessible to people with disabilities in wheeled chairs.

Absolutely stunning display of roses massed in beds and trailing across arbours in every hue imaginable. Well worth a visit.Congratulations and thank you to the dedicated team of volunteers who care for the roses, and the Parks staff who do the mowing!
