Freeway Golf Course

3 out of the 18 holes aren't ready and we weren't notified until arriving at the pro shop. Won't be back until they're ready as its not worth it.

The course is NOT ready yet. The prices have almost doubled since the changes, yet 4 of the holes are still way shorter and using temporary greens which are just a hole in the fairway. They are still charging the full almost double price though. Pretty disappointed. The new layout is interesting, not sure if its better or worse yet. Maybe wait 6 months and check then.

There are sleepers on the face of the bunkers, creating both a health hazard and a comical addition to your golf. I hit into the par 3 9th, decent shot but faded into the greenside bunker...the ball hit the sleepers and flew 40m at a right angle and ended up in the car park.

Course is in great nick and the temp greens are gone. Very fun course but pretty hilly so suggest getting a buggy if you can't walk will

Course isn't ready with 3 temporary greens on the fairway as others have mentioned. No warning on website or even by staff prior to the round and management have not responded to email. Very poor.Layout is definitely worse with a spaghetti intersection the golfer repeatedly passes 3 times in between holes with fair amount of walking.

Pretty stoked for Freeway to be finally open again, a serious reno taken place with some neatly crafted cart paths, tee to green new turf and some new holes. A couple temporary greens when we played today, but that wasn't the end of the world. The new greens looking amazing and must be close to getting the green light.$41 for a weekend round is perfectCan't wait for the full experience once all greens are open playing.

Revised course layout is interesting, challenging & fun. The course is in excellent condition most of the work now complete. With new & extended pathways, drainage work, a general clean up & complete upgrade of all Bunkers, a round here is thoroughly enjoyable.

The course isn't fully ready and golfers aren't advised of this, even after attending the pro shop. Three holes have temporary, very rough greens on their fairways and you only find out about this when you are playing.The course can't be contacted be phone and response to emails didn't always occur. This makes it very difficult if you have special requirements or wish to check something.There is only very limited outside seating to enjoy a coffee. Not sure what you do if the weather is wet or hot.The bunkers are now lined with wooden boards. No great if you hit a board on the way out or if your ball is adjacent to the lining.This information should be on the Web site and advised to the golfing patron at the pro shop.

Played the front nine today - $30 for 9 holes and 2 of the holes had greens that were temporary and not even worth putting on. Not advised of this beforehand either. Pretty unreasonable price for a course not ready. Won’t be attending again unless management respond to this with an acceptable response.
