RACV Torquay Resort

Stopped at the RACV Resort while on a road trip to charge our EV. They have 4 chargers available but one has been out of order since January.The rest were in use so we had to wait for someone to finish.We started charging and went and had lunch while the car charged. Nice menu, nice food and beautiful view over the golf course to the ocean.We returned a week later on our trip back home to charge and same issue. It would be great if they got the broken charger fixed or more installed.

This is probably one of the best resorts I have been to in Australia. The USP of this place are the views, being family friendly and the fact that it offers tranquillity. There are yoga and pilates classes up on offer and even sound bath sessions. It is also on the door of Great Ocean Road. Talk about having a zen, immersed in nature, luxurious holiday. This is it.

I enjoyed staying here with my Mum for 2 nights from Saturday 1st April 2023 to Monday 3rd April 2023. I really enjoyed relaxing in the Pool and the Spa. The breakfast was very enjoyable, I enjoyed playing Table Tennis but i found them very exhausting.

My experience wasn't great Weekend stay .After spending $600 was locked out of my room Within 24hrs then to simply get the issue sorted staff were far from helpful it took over a hour.To sort out ,then to be told it took 10minsMy stay was for relaxationI was made to feel upset with the attude from the day staff..Was unacceptable no privacy.

Lovely resort. Comfy room though slightly dated. Food was great, service was great, lots of entertainment and close to everything.I would enthusiastically come back but PLEASE update those TVs as the in-room entertainment is severely lacking.

Lovely golf resort. We had a great stay. Rooms are modern and a great size. We played tennis (bring your tennis racquets and balls or pay to hire) and of course had a great round of 18 holes golf. There is a games room, gym and pool so my adult children were happily occupied! Did I mention the dinner at the restaurant was superb. Thanks RACV Torquay!

Great place to stay. Amazing ocean view from the room. Room service is really good. Friendly staff. Kid friendly with play area, games room & swimming pool. Buffet breakfast with loys of options. Great food options and kids menu.

Nice resort, great facilities, good location. Walking walking distance to beach & shops/restaurants. Friendly, attentive service. Balcony room has a nice view of golf course & can see the ocean too. An upgrade of the TV would be beneficial ! & movie channel. Buffet breakfast was nice, a good variety.

Wanted to try a different place in Torquay this time around (tried the Wyndam resort last time). On arriving, this looks immense. Huge, modern with unique concrete walls (looks like they were moulded on site). Overlooks the beach and golf course.Rooms are very very oversized and amenities were ok. Everything is clean and works well. Despite its modern looks, this is not a luxury hotel. Service and amenities and the bar can't beat some of the city ones. Bathroom Taps were a bit flimsy (probably old?). You get a $10 credit if you go green and don't get your room cleaned. Spent it on cocktails haha.Drinks were ordinary, and the room didn't have any pens or paper oddly enough (so couldn't really jot down notes for work). Didn't like how we had to book a family room (2 joining rooms) with two toddlers. Such a waste of space (and $$).The pool is heated but don't go expecting a snack bar at the pool like a hotel or resort.Personally this place felt more like a fancy motel country club than a resort.
