We had a wonderful stay here right on the waters edge under the shade of some trees. The water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature for swimming. Saw heaps of Cassowaries wandering along the beach throughout the day. Good price and great customer service, would recommend.

There haven't been cassowaries spotted here since 1793.Edit - I stand corrected. Just saw two of the magnificent beasts. A French tourist was standing 8mm away taking pictures.

Gorgeous place best for everything like Relaxing, sigh seeing, skydiving, picnics and more. The very highlights is the Cassowary hunting for food on the shoreline. Rod Leonard a local Queenslander introduced this place to his mate Nick Dean from USA who loves photography he came to visit last year month of November for 6 day's and he went twice at this place. and there he goes!!

Very relaxing. Netted swimming area for safer swimming. It is not recommended you swim outside the nets due to the sea hazards such as Jelly Fish in the far north. 99% of the times I've been there I've seen a cassowary along the beach. Don't approach them though. And definitely don't feed them. They can be a bit unpredictable in their behavior.

Relaxing with big waves but nothing special. The water was not clear at all.

Was very wet and gloomy day when we visited, too wet to stay at the park there in our camper trailer but we did spot 2 cassowaries and had a lovely morning tea. Beautiful spot... we'll be back.
