Freycinet National Park
Absolutely stunning scenery and bushwalking. Tracks are well maintained . Wineglass Bay was beautiful, it was too windy and cold to swim...but a few people were. There were quite a few steps to get up. We also went to Hazards Beach which was a bit more exposed .highly recommend

Stunning national park, probably my favourite of my whole trip! The little township has accomodation and some stores but in peak season be prepared to pay and it can get booked out very quickly. I highly recommend doing the walks, especially the Hazards Circuit on a good day, you will not be disappointed. For the keen and the able, Mt Amos for sunrise is stunning - but beware it is hard and slippery/difficult and requires rock scrambling skills

Very well maintained campsites, shower and toilets were very clean, maintained everyday, beautiful trails from the camp site, beach straight next to the campsite feels like a privets beach

Walk to Mt Amos was great (approx 3 hours). The view is spectacular it’s a grade 4 walk. So some scrambling over granite stone is required don’t step on the wet parts as these can be super slippery. I’d even suggest bare feet sometimes as they are much better for grip.

Absolutely beautiful place, its a MUST see if you come to Tassie. We did the 1.5hr return walk. There are lots of steps (& places to sit & catch your breath!) But well worth it. You need the National Parks pass also.

Simply a must-see for any Tasmanian tourists. Beautiful views, super clean, and not busy at all. Wineglass walk up was medium effort. Didn’t do the one to the beach with 1000 steps. Did three other easy ones, all with different and stunning vistas.

Freycinet is a gorgeous national park on the East Coast of Tasmania. The place boasts magnificent views with some brilliant hikes. If you enjoy a solid hike, give Mt Amos a try. The summit of Mt Amos is spectacular!

We undertook the circular 11 km walk. The views are magnificent. The walk is classed as moderate but we found the going easy. Neither of us are hardened walkers and we loved it. I would do it again and again just for the views and magnificent beaches along the coast. Dont forget your swimwear.

Love this place. The campgrounds are fantastic, particularly the powered sites. The walks are superb.
