Great to visit. Maybe needs more signs as we didn’t realise that one of the tracks came to a dead end. Still worth a visit.

A lovely spot to take your dogs for a walk. Abundance of water at the moment and loads of hidden spots to check out along the way.A playground for the little-ones, picnic tables, ducks, frogs, birds....Heaps of parking. restaurant onsite, they sell good coffee.*Be aware of snakes!!

It is hard to believe that meters away from the Port River Expressway, there is a thriving wetlands habitat. We entered from Magazine road and walked across the footbridge over the lake. The path leads further into the lakes and road noise disappears replaced by sounds of birds.

First time I have been here.Surprised by all the rubbish dumped near the waterways and road.Hot day when we went but there is a couple of shady spots to stand. Not many birds will come back when cooler. There is a bird hide but no toilet.

Entry from Magazine Road:There is lot of water, vegetation and birds close to the highway but the roadside it is full of litter. A decent path leads to the bird hide, through dried up salt lakes and samphire. We will try again during winter to see the promised wading birds, there are better options this time of the year.

Run down .Also, sections of the trail are used by men picking up men for short contact .Lot of flattened grass and discarded tissues .

Lovely place to go bird-watching. As in looking at the aviary wetland life.

Fantastic urban wetlands, lots of water and birds in winter and spring, but not so interesting during summer. You can go for a nice loop walk through the wetlands and meet swans, swamp hens, sea gulls, stilts, egrets and more.
