A beautiful place to ride, run or hike. Such a little gem in amongst the southern suburbs. It would really benefit from a bigger carpark now that there are so many new trails.

Our group had the pleasure of having a guided tour from David Spiers MP here. Highly recommend learning about the history of the area which includes the early farming practices from the European settlers in the 1830s, the use by the military for the first world war, CSIRO doing many years of testing, the acquisition by local uni and the handover to become a huge nature precinct for the southern suburbs. The vision is very exciting for our generation and beyond! Definitely recommend to get along and check it out in its infancy to compare what it may look like in the years to come!We are very fortunate to have this land preserved instead of developing it into suburbs!

Looking for a weekend activity? Great place for riding bike. 5 years + can ride easily. Not far away from city. Lovely view and spectacular scenery! One side is an ocean view and other side is forest. Definitely recommend it.

Good tracks for all kind of levels. Place is very well look after with good signs and directions of which way trails go.

A new national park, that has the bonus of being dog friendly. As it is still a work in progress, bear in mind there are currently no toilet facilities. Walking trails are also limited. Keep to the path, and don't go crashing through the new plantings (or let your kids or dogs do this). Can't wait until the adventure playground and older buildings are available to explore!

This new national park is essentially under construction. They are aiming to make it family friendly and accessible to more people, but it's not there yet. Many paths were blocked off, or as during my visit, complete mud baths! Spare shoes and an old towel are recommended for clean up before you head home, especially when visiting in the winter months. I'm sure I will up rate this experience if I go again in a year's time. Dogs on leads are welcome, but no bins in the car park, so you'll need to take your poo bags home.

It used to be a farm and part of it a military place, but now is being turned into a national park and a lot of work is being done there by ranger and contractors to create a joyful place for families where their kids can play in a sustainable playground that is being built from mostly natural materials. It is not open to public yet

Great for MTBiking! This place is definitely one of Adelaide's hidden gems. There is a spot where you can see all of Adelaide. Magnificent views! Multiple options for which tracks to ride depending on how easy or hard you want it to be. The new section is looking great! Love the unique looking playground. Great for walking.
