the person who served me was rude towards me for no reason. i was just there to have some fun with a mate and he was making us feel unwelcome. i will definitely not be coming back ever again

Excellent golf course, worth a trip to Robe just to play it. New section over the road is challenging with bush just off the fairway and we’ll set out. Everything was in excellent condition. Will come back to play here

UPDATE: 27/1/23 Another three day trip starting at Lake Albert Golf club in the morning, followed by Kingston GC that afternoon and stayed there overnight at the Crown Inn hotel. In the morning we played Robe followed by Lucindale GC in the afternoon. We stayed overnight at Naracoorte Hotel and played Naracoorte golf club in the morning and Keith golf club in the afternoon. All courses have grassed fairways and greens and are of a high standard. Total cost for 6 rounds of golf including accommodation was $270 each …..great value and we had a great time.Robe Golf Course was in good condition. Most fairways had a good coverage of grass for this time of the year. Wind conditions were mild……… Making for good playing conditions. Price has gone from $40 to $50.Updated 25/12/21Golfing Trip to the Limestone CoastLake Albert Golf club at Meningie was our first stopover on a short three day golfing trip down the Limestone Coast. We also played Kingston that afternoon and stayed there overnight at the Crown Inn hotel ($60 for twin). In the morning we played Robe followed by Beachport in the afternoon. We stayed overnight at the Grand Hotel in Millicent ($60 for twin). On our last day we played Millicent golf club in the morning and Lucindale golf club in the afternoon. All courses have grassed fairways and greens and are of a high standard. Total cost for 6 rounds of golf including accommodation was $230 each …..great value and a great time to be had!!!The Robe Golf Course was in excellent condition. The fairways had an excellent coverage of grass, bunkers were well maintained as was the “second cut. Get into the rough on some of the really difficult holes …… don’t bother looking for your ball!!! The greens were challenging and in excellent condition. On a previous visit it was a very windy day which added to the challenges of the course. On this Christmas morning visit the weather was calm and we had the golf course to ourselves. The “new” holes are amazing. Almost have a Barnbougle feel. They are picturesque and very challenging ...... The course was in very good condition. We enjoyed our experience....... well worth playing.

This course is a hidden gem. Holes 13 though 18 are what you'd expect from a country course but the first 12 are fantastic. Holes 7 through 11 wouldn't be out of place at barnbougle dunes.

I’ve played plenty of clubs and Robe Golf Club has to be top of the my list. The course is divided into 3x6 holes instead of 2x9, which compliments the layout of a perfect blend of parkland and links style holes, which means there’s something for everyone and you can really expand your game. Also it means to can get out and hit a quick six if you’ve got a full day planned already. No matter what time of year the fairways are lush and manicured and the greens are like felt. The rough changes throughout the holes, from hardly any for beginners to never find your ball again which adds a little excitement. The guys in the Pro shop are usually very nice, helpful and happy to see you and they’ve just got a bunch of brand new carts in which were awesome.A relatively unknown gem!

Played the first 12 holes. Lovely course in great condition. Shout out to John in the pro shop for his assistance with lost property. Would highly recommend playing here.

Played the course 3 times while on holidays and loved it! Incredible for a country course!Watch out for one of the managers down there though. Similar to other reviews he gave me and my mate a hard time for no reason and even chased us down in his buggy after the first hole for no reason. I told him that he took our cash so he can leave us alone (lol)! One of the greens keepers then came up to us and apologised which gives me faith that it’s just a single bad egg!I still recommend - great course!

Beautiful course for a small country town , some flat holes and some real challenging hilly holes on the western side of the club . Carts available for hire and also the option of playing 6 , 12 or 18 holes
