Captain Burke Park
It's a fantastic park at Kangaroo Point. It is a wonderful family space where you can enjoy the sea and bridge together and enjoy barbecue. There are also coffee shops, brewery and jazz clubs nearby, so you can enjoy a variety of leisure time. There is also plenty of parking on the side of the road near the bridge climbing office. However, there are not many places to park right next to the park.

This is an amazing place to sit and eat and admire the sights of this great recreational area so close to City and on the river. There is also the possibility to sit on the sand beach and take in the sun.I highly recommend this park either for a family day out or a barbeque meal or even just sit and enjoy the sights.

Late afternoon the sun is the behind the buildings of the cbd, so it cools down and no direct sunlight to burn sensitive skin. Lots of park seats. A few barbecues and sheltered tables/seats. Parking can be hard, but be patient, one will happen. Plenty of public bathrooms. Wheelchair friendly park. Plenty of locals walking their dogs. Lots of families. Screaming kids everywhere. Parents that let their offspring chase birds and at times harassing them. Swing set. Works are in the process in early march 2023. Some water fountains about.

Great park under the Story Bridge so up close views of Bridge & Brisbane river. Gets pretty busy at weekends with picnics, weddings & parties. Lovely place to chill out & relax with plenty of picnic tables & shady mature trees to cool off from the sunshine. Top place for city views too

Close to the ferry terminal and story bridge. Excellent location along the riverside especially in the evening hours with beautiful cityscape views.

I watched my daughter do the climb up the bridge. This park is very clean and lovely to sit in our chairs to wait.

Great little spot right under the Story Bridge with an awesome view of the city. Plenty of grass so you can sit and soak up some sun or lay back and enjoy the city lights at night!
