Golden Beach is a treasure. Parking on the road only metres to walk to the beach where the water is not rough. Water sports to watch.

Nice Park next to the beach,pretty close to busy road though, but looks like a new fence is planned. It is in desperate need of some seating for the supervising adults, which is why it only gets 3 stars from me.

A lovely, popular, small park between the Esplanade and the water front. There's a play area for the kids and bbq's to enjoy. Be careful of the busy walkway/cycle path running the length of the beach. Lots of access to the narrow beach to swim and place for those who choose to fish. There's a canoe hire business to take advantage of as well.

Great spot for the kids near the beach, with amenities and playground and a good open spot to have a kick around

This is our go to section of the beach. We have young kids and the water is nice and shallow and my daughter loves the park.In busy times parking can be a bit tricky but we usually fair OK.

White sand, nice and calm beach for little ones. There's a toilet near the playground and bbq area.
