Ferny Grove Resource Recovery Centre

Had a visit to the ferny grove resource centre to dispose of a dining table and some chairs. On entry the lady behind the counter advised that endeavour" might be interested in taking the chairs. She said to drive on straight through to the top of the hill.We continued driving looking out for a sign for "endeavour" but nothing was sign posted. We were in a rush due to hiring a rental ute for the afternoon

It is a great little area for the kids to have fun and the adults to relax. Well maintained by local council and typically kept clean by the public.Farmer Browns Pizza on a Friday evening are a must aswell.

Our first visit to this facility. Had a mixed load and 2 drop off points. Staff manning the front gate and the load stations were more than happy to help with questions.The setup there is very organised and professional. Highly recommend to any business looking to save money on rubbish removal.

Took some items for my Daughter and was amazed by the facility and amount of items they recycle which includes polystyrene and inner spring mattresses. Staff where polite and helpful as it was my first visit.coloured lines are easy to follow for the different drop off points

Awesome place . Have not been to the dump " for years . Was totally appalled at what people were throwing away . Shame on you all. Terrible indictment on the throw away society . For God's sake people if it's not broken list it on FB marketplace for free . Someone will reuse it .Centre itself was well organised and clean . The staff looked very productive and were pleasant ."

Professional and polite staff who are always helpful.It'd be great if they accepted large quantities of old concrete to recycle.

Never mind all the mess people make, this place would make a very good venue for weddings among other things. You've got lovely views overlooking Mt Coot-tha and people constantly leave palm branches that you can use to decorate your wedding venue with. If it's raining, never mind, as there is a massive auditorium with two platforms that can quite comfortably seat 1500 people on either platform. You could have your ceremony on one platform and the reception on the other!

a basic recycling effort here, with e-waste filtering, before reaching the general dump area. Could easily be improved by allowing for pick-up, swap and second hand sales.

This morning at 10:58am I attended the Ferny Grove Resource Recovery Centre to dispose of carload and trailer of household items and a small printer from my business when asked at the front gate business or home, I said business not thinking because I have had an extremely busy morning, I was sent down the red line the same as household waste when I arrived to the exit I explained to the lady and I was greeted with I shouldn’t of said business then that’ll be $87 and started being passive aggressive, when I tried to explain myself she then proceeded to advise me I should of shut my mouth and threatened me saying “do you wanna go” twice. Ins very aggressive manner To threaten someone is extremely unprofessional and should not be tolerated .Honestly it was the most disgusting display of customer service I have ever seen. I now feel unsafe to even attend my local tip again.

Easy to access and drop off your waste and recyclable products. Just make sure you have a voucher of you're a city resident or be prepared to pay.
